Bayern Munich made contact for Real Madrid ace again, but player not for sale

Over the past few weeks, reports of Bayern Munich’s interest in signing Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni have been doing the rounds. The German champions had reportedly made contact to explore the possibility of a transfer.
But after they learnt that Real Madrid do not plan on selling the 23-year-old and neither the player is looking for an exit, the matter seemed to be done and dusted.
However, a fresh report from AS (h/t Madrid Xtra), is now claiming that the Bavarian giants have once again made contact for Tchouameni as they continue to persist in their pursuit of the Frenchman.
But, the 23-year-old midfield enforcer is clear that he does not wish to leave the Santiago Bernabeu at this moment while Real Madrid also maintain that he is not for sale.
Tchouameni signed for the Merengues last year, signing from AS Monaco in a deal that could reach around €100 million. He made a brilliant start to life as a Real Madrid player, filling in the giant shoes left vacant by Casemiro.
The Frenchman’s form dipped drastically in the second half of the season though, leading to him losing his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI.
Despite that, however, the club and the coaching staff maintain complete and total faith in Tchouameni’s qualities and have no desire to sell him.
The midfielder, for his part, is also keen on staying put and succeeding, with his personal fitness trainer recently stating that the player was keen to show his best level.
“I think he’s going to have a kind of personal vindication, he’s going to have that mentality that he’s going to show everybody that great things are coming,” he said.
Bayern Munich would thus be better off looking elsewhere to reinforce their midfield unit this summer, with Tchouameni unlikely to depart.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
