Bayern Munich prepare bumper new contract offer for Real Madrid Galactico target
Bayern Munich are preparing a lucrative contract offer in an attempt to secure Michael Olise’s long-term future as speculation over interest from Real Madrid continues to grow.
According to German journalist Christian Falk (h/t SPORT), the Bundesliga champions want to extend the French international’s contract until 2031 and make him one of the club’s highest-paid players.
Bayern ready to double his salary
Olise currently earns around €13.5 million gross per season, but Bayern are understood to be prepared to almost double that figure in order to convince him to commit his future to the club.
The proposed extension would reward the winger’s outstanding performances and underline Bayern’s determination to keep one of their most important players.
Despite Bayern’s willingness to invest heavily, Falk reports that there are growing uncertainties within Olise’s camp about remaining in Munich.
According to the German journalist, people close to the player believe he has already achieved domestic success with Bayern and may now want a new challenge.
And, Real Madrid is viewed as the club Olise would ideally like to join. As such, the journalist does not expect an immediate breakthrough in Bayern’s renewal talks.
The 24-year-old French international is set for a crunch meeting with the Bavarian giants after the World Cup, which could prove to be pivotal in deciding his future.
Real Madrid monitoring the situation
Olise’s name has gained momentum around Real Madrid in recent months.
The French winger is highly regarded at Valdebebas for his creativity, final pass and technical quality, while his growing partnership with Kylian Mbappe for France has further enhanced his reputation.
The duo have been among France’s standout performers, helping establish Didier Deschamps’ side as one of the favourites to win the World Cup.

For now, publicly, Bayern Munich continue to insist that Olise is not for sale. However, if the winger ultimately refuses to extend his contract, the situation could evolve over the coming months.

In what will come as a pleasing development for fans, Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid forward Rodrygo could make a comeback from his injury earlier than expected.
The 25-year-old Brazilian international has been out of action since March after suffering an ACL injury during a La Liga game against Getafe.
Due to the complete rupture of the ACL, coupled with associated meniscus damage, it was suggested that the attacker was staring at a lengthy time out on the sidelines and might not return until 2027.
In fact, the forward’s father, Eric Goes, recently stated in an interview that the Real Madrid ace could be back in February next year, just before the business end of the campaign.
Rodrygo could be back in December
However, as per the update from Romano, Rodrygo’s comeback could happen well before that expected date.
Indeed, if things continue to progress at the current rate, the 25-year-old attacker might return to action in December or by January 2027 at the latest.
This will come as a welcome boost for Jose Mourinho & co., considering that Rodrygo is a valuable player for the team.
