As Real Madrid continue their preparations for the weekend’s La Liga clash against Valencia, they have been handed a double fitness boost.

Key midfielder Jude Bellingham and veteran striker Joselu have seemingly recovered from their respective injury problems and resumed training with the rest of the group, reports Melchor Ruiz of COPE.

As such, there is a good chance that the pair could be available to face Valencia at the Mestalla on Saturday, which will come as a big boost for Carlo Ancelotti & co.

Bellingham has been out with an ankle injury that he sustained during the game against Girona in February. Since then, the 20-year-old has gone on to miss the matches against RB Leipzig, Rayo Vallecano, and Sevilla.

The England international was expected to be out for two-three weeks and his return to training seems to be on time.

Meanwhile, Joselu also sustained an ankle injury during training last week which led to him missing the match against Sevilla.

It was expected that Joselu could be out for close to two weeks, but it appears that the veteran forward has recovered earlier than expected and is back training with the rest of the group.

Whether the duo will be available to face Valencia remains to be seen though and a confirmation will likely arrive when Ancelotti speaks to the media during the press conference later today.

For now, the top two goalscorers for Real Madrid this term are back training with the squad.

Real Madrid are just days away from their highly anticipated Champions League final showdown against Borussia Dortmund.

Once the final has been played, planning for the summer transfer window will be in full swing, with the topic of arrivals and departures likely to be discussed.

One of the players facing an uncertain future is Nacho Fernandez. The Real Madrid captain has yet to disclose his future ambitions, despite nearing the end of his contract.

Nacho opens up about future

While he previously claimed that he had already made his decision, a shift in tone can be observed now, with Nacho asserting that he will soon sit with the club and his family to evaluate the best course of action

For now, the 34-year-old remains focused on the Champions League final and does not wish to draw any unnecessary attention.

“Future? The focus is on the final now. After that, I will sit with the club, Ancelotti and my family and I’ll decide what’s the best thing for me,” he told El Chiringuito.

Fernandez acknowledges the fans’ support

Additionally, the veteran centre-back claimed that he does need a grand farewell to know how much the Madrid faithful appreciate him.

“That love the fans have for Toni is the same they have for me. I don’t need a farewell to know the fans love me,” he reflected.

Nacho has devoted his entire career to Real Madrid, rising through the ranks from the youth academy and spending over two decades with the Merengues.

However, he has alluded to the possibility of perhaps donning the colours of a different jersey.

“Sometimes the circumstances are not right to be a ‘one club man’,” he cryptically claimed.
