According to German football expert Miguel Gutierrez (h/t El Chiringuito TV), Real Madrid’s standout player Jude Bellingham is keen on the prospect of playing alongside Erling Haaland once again.

Gutierrez shared that Bellingham and Haaland have a strong friendship that dates back to their time together at Borussia Dortmund.

Their connection on and off the pitch is evident, and their close relationship suggests they have a deep understanding of each other’s style of play.

“Bellingham would like to play with Haaland in the future,” said Gutierrez.

“They are very good friends and he thinks they get along very well,” he added.

Real Madrid’s interest in Erling Haaland

Only a month back, we reported that Haaland’s camp got in touch with Real Madrid as well as Barcelona to discuss future possibilities.

Haaland and his team have a clear goal: he aims to transition from the English Premier League to the Spanish La Liga when the opportunity arises, although the exact timing and location of this switch are uncertain.

Haaland has expressed his strong interest in playing in Spain. He appreciates the lifestyle there and frequently visits to enjoy the climate, cuisine, and nightlife.

To make his dream come true, his father is actively involved in facilitating the move. However, the transfer hinges on the right timing, particularly when leading clubs have openings for a top striker like Haaland.

Bellingham-Haaland – A dynamic duo

Both Bellingham and Haaland enjoyed successful stints at Dortmund, forming a dynamic partnership during their time at the club.

Their ability to work seamlessly together made them a formidable duo, earning them praise from fans and experts alike.

Bellingham’s desire to reunite with Haaland could stem from their shared history and mutual respect for each other.

If they were to join forces once again, their chemistry could lead to exciting opportunities on the field. This potential reunion could also enhance the performance of Real Madrid, thanks to their proven track record of working well together.

Speaking in an interview with Sport BILD (h/t AS), Germany legend Michael Ballack has claimed that Bayer Leverkusen sensation Florian Wirtz is ready to play for Real Madrid.

Wirtz is a player that Real Madrid have been closely monitoring for a while now, with the German sensation being seen as a long-term replacement for Toni Kroos, who announced his retirement yesterday.

A move for Wirtz is being planned for the summer of 2025 and Ballack believes that the Bundesliga title winner with Leverkusen is ready for the big move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

“Wirtz is ready for Real Madrid,” said Ballack.

“In terms of football, Wirtz can definitely play for Real Madrid. You can also see it in Jude Bellingham after his move from BVB: when you play with even better players, you become even better,” he added.

Wirtz has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen that runs until the summer of 2027. As things stand, the new German champions have no intentions of selling their prized asset this year.

However, there appears to be an acceptance that the German international will be on the move in 2025.

Other top clubs like Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also understood to be interested, but Real Madrid are likely to beat them in the race should it come down to that next year.

A move for Wirtz, though, could cost in excess of €100 million for Real Madrid should they do indeed decide to proceed with his signing next year.
