Brazilian wonderkid responds to Real Madrid links: “Want to play in Europe one day”

Endrick Felipe of Palmeiras is one of the most coveted young prospects at the moment. At the age of just 16, the striker is commanding the interest of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with Real Madrid at the forefront.
Indeed, Los Blancos have made the signing of Endrick a top priority on their agenda and have already dispatched executives to negotiate with Palmeiras over a transfer, even though the youngster will only be able to arrive in Europe after he turns 18.
At the same time, there is also interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona. But as things stand, Real Madrid seem to be leading the chase, with reports indicating that the striker’s father also wants him to play at the Santiago Bernabeu.
While the speculations continue to do the rounds, Endrick has insisted that his complete focus remains on doing well for Palmeiras, although he admits that he wants to play in Europe soon.
As quoted by UOL Esporte, the 16-year-old said: “I don’t care if clubs are interested in me. I’m only thinking of Palmeiras, so I don’t have to contact anyone now. I must do my job. Of course, one day I want to play in Europe, but now I have to focus on Palmeiras.
“I’m at Palmeiras I have to be focused on the club and not think about leaving. It’s the team that welcomed me, it’s the team that gave everything to me. I’m very grateful to Palmeiras, but obviously, I want to play in Europe one day, right.”
Endrick has made just five first-team appearances for Palmeiras, but has already scored three goals and set up one more, indicating his immense potential.
The aforementioned report adds that Real Madrid will send chief scout Juni Calafat to Brazil to negotiate his signing as they wish to close Endrick’s transfer as soon as possible, just like they had done with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes in the past.
Endrick is believed to have a release clause worth €60 million in his contract, but reports suggest that Palmeiras could accept an offer of €45 million plus add-ons.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool monitoring 19-year-old Bundesliga wonderkid – Romano

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool are all monitoring Bayer Leverkusen and Germany wonderkid Florian Wirtz.
After recovering from his ACL injury, the teenage sensation has been slowly working his way back to his best form. So far this term, Wirtz has managed to rack up a tally of two goals and six assists from 13 matches in all competitions.
The 19-year-old’s talent and potential have never been in question and hence it does not come as a surprise that elite clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool are all keeping tabs on the German international.
A versatile attacking midfielder, Wirtz is capable of playing anywhere in the final third of the pitch and backs up with top-notch end product. Be it as a false-nine or in a more withdrawn role, the youngster has excelled for Bayer Leverkusen, catching the attention of top teams.
Real Madrid, for their part, are also understood to be among Wirtz’s admirers. Given the situation surrounding Karim Benzema’s fitness and the lack of backup at the top, the youngster could be an option, as he has shown potential while operating through the middle.
But Barcelona also have a strong interest in the teenager with reports even suggesting that they have already made contact with his father to enquire about his situation.
At the same time, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be a huge admirer of his fellow German and with Roberto Firmino on his way out, Wirtz could be lined up as a possible replacement.
However, Romano adds that the expectation is that Wirtz could stay at Bayer Leverkusen for one more year and depart Germany once the UEFA Euro 2024 is out of the way.
For now, there have been talks or negotiations with any clubs, but Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool are all tracking Wirtz and his progress in Germany.
