Given the lack of minutes Arda Guler has suffered at Real Madrid since he returned from injury, there have been recurring speculations about his future.

A loan exit has been repeatedly touted in the media, with AC Milan cited as a possible destination in an arrangement similar to that of Brahim Diaz in the past.

It was even suggested that manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that a loan exit would be in the 19-year-old’s best interest due to the competition for places at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Guler going nowhere

However, things have changed over the past week, with Turkish publication Aksam reporting that Real Madrid have made the decision to not loan Guler out next summer.

This development comes after the 19-year-old sensation scored his first goal in Real Madrid colours this past weekend against Celta Vigo.

After coming on as a late substitute, the Turkish international showed great composure to finish off a chance and make it 4-0 for Real Madrid.

Following the game, Ancelotti confirmed that the youngster would have more minutes going forward while the player was seen thanking the manager for the chance.

The Italian tactician has always maintained that patience is needed with the teenage sensation considering that he missed the entire first half of the season through injury.

In all, Guler has played six games for Real Madrid so far, totalling up to just 93 minutes of action, in which he has one goal.

But now, things are likely to change, and with that, the idea of loaning Guler out to a club in the summer transfer window also appears to be off the table.

Real Madrid officially played their final game of the league season this past weekend and the focus now shifts to the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1.

The Spanish champions have the glorious opportunity to secure their 15th Champions League title this on Sunday.

But heading into this clash, Real Madrid are likely to miss out on the services of one of the key players – Aurelien Tchouameni.

The Frenchman will likely be ruled out for the UCL final due to an injury incurred earlier this month.

Tchouameni on UCL final

Speaking ahead of the final, Tchouameni admitted that it would be very difficult for him to participate in the UCL final.

“I can run, I think it is very difficult to play in this final and we have more players who can be in my position. The important thing is that we are going to win this Champions League,” Tchouameni said.

The Frenchman added that he would try to help the team any way he can, stating, “If I can be the MVP from the bench, I’ll do it.”

Considered by many as the future of the Real Madrid midfield, Tchouameni has played a valuable role in the middle of the park this season.

His versatility, coupled with his ability to spread the play and put pressure on the opposition have served as key to Real Madrid’s success.

Although Tchouameni might not feature in this final, the player expressed his optimism about the Real Madrid team, adding, “I really want to play in this final, but I’m sure we will reach more finals [in coming years].”

Finally, Tchouameni expressed his happiness at Real Madrid, stating, “It’s an incredible feeling to be at Real Madrid.”

Formerly of AS Monaco, Tchouameni has featured in 88 competitive matches since joining Real Madrid in 2022. With Toni Kroos retiring, he is expected to play a crucial role for the club going forward, although not necessarily in the upcoming Champions League final.
