Speaking on The Four Amigos Podcast, journalist Mario Cortegana has claimed that Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick wants to sign for Real Madrid, amid widespread interest from several top clubs in Europe.

Endrick is a man in demand in the European market even though he is just 16 years old and will not be able to move out of Brazil for two more years.

PSG have already had a bid rejected for the Palmeiras sensation while Barcelona are also in the hunt for his signing.

However, it seems like Real Madrid are the frontrunners to sign Endrick. Previous reports have suggested that the Merengues have a very close relationship with the striker and his entourage.

Earlier today, it was claimed that Real Madrid were already planning to launch a bid for the 16-year-old in the coming days in order to ensure that they come out on top in the race for his signing.

And now, Mario Cortegana is stating that Endrick is reciprocating the interest from Real Madrid and wants to sign for the reigning champions of Spain and Europe.

Real Madrid have done a brilliant job of identifying and signing young talent from Brazil in the recent past. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes have become integral parts of the first-team setup at the Santiago Bernabeu, while there is hope for Reinier Jesus, who is currently on loan at Girona.

Juni Calafat, who helped Real Madrid clinch the signings of Vinicius and Rodrygo, is believed to have done a great job in convincing Endrick as well. Furthermore, the teenager himself has a good relationship with Vinicius, all of which have seemingly worked in favour of Los Blancos.

Endrick could now be the next Brazilian import to arrive at Real Madrid. It is claimed that club president Florentino Perez wanted to wait until next year to land the 16-year-old. But his recent development has seemingly convinced him and the Merengues to act swiftly.

Endrick recently made his first-team debut for Palmeiras and has already scored two goals and set up one more from just four matches.

One thing I don’t like about real madrid is that..any player they make a lot of stories about ends up in another club. If the player is that good and can play for the club just go ahead and sign him.

All the wonder kids from Brazil want to play for Real Madrid. That’s a very good omen. But what’s the fate of Vinicius Tobias now? As we’re targeting a move for RB on January, is Tobias not good enough to be promoted to the senior team?

Tobias is loan, not purchased. It’s almost free. Be aware.

Arda Guler’s Real Madrid stint has not gotten off to the start he would have hoped to have given the expectation that preceded the transfer.

Having joined in the summer after Real Madrid outbid their competition to win him over from Fenerbahce for a 20-million-euro fee, buzz was high as the winger was expected to slot into the team quite seamlessly, albeit on a rotational basis.

Unfortunately for the 18-year-old, he has been constantly marred by injuries since completing the move.

Reports have stated that after Guler picked up his third injury since his move, Real Madrid have been concerned and want to take things slow with the player to ensure he is fit as soon as possible after an injury to his quadriceps this time.

The Turk is yet to make his competitive debut for the club, and Real Madrid even sacked their medical chief in November, in light of their injury crises since the beginning of the season.

No loan deal for Guler

However, according to Fabrizio Romano in a recent YouTube video, he states that Madrid maintain full trust and patience in the youngster.

Despite his bad luck with injuries, the latest of which he is scheduled to return from after Christmas, the Galacticos have no intention of loaning out Guler to Turkish clubs despite lots of speculation of them doing so of late.

Romano states that Madrid remain firm on not shaking things up too much with the squad, and they want to keep their roster stable, including Arda Guler.

They want to extend their full support and protection to the player as he aims to return to full fitness and finally make his bow for Madrid either by the end of this month or in 2024.
