La Liga president wishes to see Mbappe at Real Madrid: “They have the ability”

A lot has been said about La Liga’s stringent application of financial limits in recent years. Clubs across Spain have struggled with registering new signings, with many teams even forced to part ways with some of their stars.
Real Madrid’s financial management, however, has allowed them to manoeuvre through the transfer windows seamlessly. Year after year, the management ensures to strike the balance between the players moving out and arriving at Santiago Bernabeu.
In a recent interview, as quoted by AS, La Liga President Javier Tebas went on to make a big statement about Real Madrid’s purchasing power in the market and opened the doors for Kylian Mbappe to arrive in Spain.
“Real Madrid have the ability [to get Mbappé this summer],” Tebas said.
Further, the La Liga supremo gave his opinion on the Frenchman’s transfer saga and whether he felt would transpire in the summer.
Tebas even logically reasoned out why it would be unsustainable for the World Cup winner to continue in France and invited him to the Bernabeu.
“If you ask me as a fan, I think he will leave PSG this summer,” he said.
“Where I don’t think he will play is at PSG. If they want to comply with UEFA rules, they have to reduce the wage bill. They have €800 million against €600 million in revenue. One man who would help is Kylian. I wish his future is at Madrid,” Tebas added.
Having already secured Jude Bellingham for a massive price tag earlier this month, it was close to impossible to assume the club making another move in excess of €100 million this summer.
Yet, the chance to sign Mbappe is not one that arrives every day. Given the Merengues‘ history in chasing the French superstar, it is only understandable that Florentino Perez prioritizes his arrival.
It now appears more likely than ever that Los Blancos will feature a front three of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes and Mbappe next season. After all, the €200 million offer Real Madrid plan to make will be difficult for PSG to pass on.
Yet, there are a number of questions that remain to be answered, including the fact that Mbappe continues to insist that he plans to stay at PSG next season.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
