The Vinicius Jr. transfer saga is turning into quite the drama for Real Madrid this summer transfer window.

Although the club would prefer to focus on making signings and keeping hold of the Brazilian, his contractual situation is making this an urgent matter this summer.

Arsenal and Saudi clubs are tracking the Madrid man’s situation, while, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Vinicius’ agents suggested the Brazilian’s name to Liverpool.

However, the journalist has also revealed that the Reds of Merseyside are not considering a move for him at the moment.

Liverpool not considering a move

Despite Vinicius’ status as one of the world’s elite forwards, Liverpool are more focused on signing a replacement for Mohamed Salah on the right wing.

It is important to note that an approach from a player’s representatives does not necessarily mean the player is actively seeking to leave.

Agents often tend to gauge interest from other top clubs in Europe and use it as a negotiation chip in contractual discussions.

From Real Madrid’s perspective, Vinicius remains one of the cornerstones of Jose Mourinho’s squad. His pace, creativity and match-winning ability make him one of the most valuable players in world football.

However, with around 12 months left on his current contract, Los Blancos risk losing him for free next summer if they do not act now.

Arsenal may submit a bid

If Arsenal are interested in signing Vinicius, they might submit a bid to Real Madrid in the coming days, and the Spanish club need to decide what to do with it.

Los Blancos do not have much power to call the shots here, and potential buyers could attempt to low-ball them, considering Vinicius will be available as a free agent next summer.

It is interesting to note that the Spanish capital giants have already made a move to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig and could soon close the deal.

Everything points to this Vinicius saga dragging on deep into the summer transfer window, and it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian stays or moves to a new club ahead of next season.

Real Madrid have already shown a lot intent in the market this summer by signing a host of new players to shore up the team.

But after a mass exodus in the reserve team, Real Madrid are looking to shore up their youth department, with the club already identifying JJ Gabriel as a key target.

The 15-year-old centre-forward has made quite the impression during his time at Manchester United’s youth academy and is courted by several clubs across Europe.

Among the clubs interested in Gabriel’s signature is Barcelona, Real Madrid’s most common enemy.

According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid are determined to beat Barcelona in the race to sign Gabriel and are plotting a move for the 15-year-old.

The young centre forward has handed in a transfer request at Man United, following the breakdown of relations between him and the club.

Barcelona were initially hopeful of acquiring Gabriel’s signature, but Real Madrid are now looking increasingly confident hi-jacking the deal.

Jose Mourinho’s men, in fact, are seen as a real threat as far as the pursuit of Gabriel is concerned.

An ideal addition to La Fabrica

Other than Gabriel handing in a transfer request, Real Madrid have multiple things going for them, including the fact that the player holds an Irish passport.

This will allow him to leave England at the age of just 16, making it easier for Real Madrid to snap up the opportunity.

Having shown immense promise at youth levels, Gabriel could be intriguing addition to the Real Madrid academy that has had to cope with the exit of multiple homegrown stars this past summer.

The list was headlined by Gonzalo Garcia’s big money move to Fulham. JJ Gabriel, to that end, could fit in as an ideal replacement in the RM Castilla squad, though it remains unclear as to whether or not he will be directly integrated to the reserve side.
