Locker room video hints at potential jersey numbers for Real Madrid summer signings
After two consecutive trophyless campaigns, Real Madrid fans have every right to be excited about the season ahead.
New coach Jose Mourinho has already made a lot of changes, notably convincing the club to buy four new players.
The list includes Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries.
While Real Madrid have not officially assigned jersey numbers for these new signings, Alex Moreno’s recent video of the Real Madrid dressing room does provide some amount of hint.
What are the jersey numbers for new signings?
The video shared by Moreno showcases the new shirts of all the Real Madrid players next season, including the new signings.

Moreno takes us through the shirts in a reverse numerical order, which provides key hints about the potential jersey numbers for the new signings.
For example, Konate’s jersey has been placed in between number five Jude Bellingham and number three Eder Militao, hinting that the former Liverpool centre-back might wear the number four shirt next season.
Similarly, the order suggests Cucurella might wear the number two shirt, as he is replaced just beside the goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who wears the number one jersey.
According to the same method, Bernardo SIlva is expected to wear the number 19 jersey while Dumfries may wear number 20.
What about Endrick?
Interestingly, Endrick, who will be a part of the Real Madrid setup following a successful loan spell at Lyon, may wear the number nine jersey.
The Brazilian is placed between the number ten Kylian Mbappe and the number eight Federico Valverde.
This suggests Real Madrid are considering Endrick as a potential striker option for next season, although that may not bode well for the player himself.
While Endrick comes on the back of immense success at Lyon, it is unlikely he will be able to dethrone Mbappe as the starting striker.
That means Endrick’s only avenue of game-time could be on the flanks or if Mourinho employs a two-striker formula. Even so, Vinicius Jr. is another option, although the Brazilian continues to face complications over his renewal.

Real Madrid eye €40 millon-rated goalkeeper as potential Thibaut Courtois replacement
Real Madrid boast one of the best goalkeepers in world football in the form of Thibaut Courtois.
However, the Belgian is already 34 and his current contract at the club expires at the end of the season.
Although Real Madrid are keen on extending his contract, they are preparing for the possibility of life beyond the veteran goalkeeper as well.
Keeping that in mind, Real Madrid are already keeping tabs on the market and monitoring potential replacements, with Diogo Costa emerging as one of the options.
Real Madrid interested in Diogo Costa
As reported by Bernabeu Digital, Costa is among the goalkeepers Real Madrid are interested in, as they look for potential replacements for Courtois.
The Portuguese international is regarded highly and has been endorsed personally by the club’s new goalkeeping coach, Nuno Santos.
Jose Mourinho is also said to be playing a key role in driving the club’s interest in Costa, who currently plies his trade for FC Porto.
At age of just 26, Costa has established himself as the firm number one for the Portugal national team, having already won almost 50 caps.
€40 million for Costa?
Acquiring the services of Diogo Costa, though, won’t be a walk in the park for Real Madrid.
The Portuguese international is valued at around €40 million, which the club might see as steep.
But given the experience and the quality Costa offers, Real Madrid do indeed see him as the ideal candidate to replace Courtois, if necessary.
Given that he is also liked by Mourinho and Santos, there is no reason why Real Madrid will be against paying that premium for the goalkeeper, especially if Courtois ends up leaving the club.
Real Madrid, though, are also open to finding an in-house replacement for Courtois, with Javi Navarro, in particular, making a lot of waves in the lower divisions.
That being said, everything indicates Courtois will sign a new contract so there shouldn’t be any immediate need for a replacement.
