Manchester United are currently going through the process of takeover, with several potential suitors lodging bids to become the club’s new owners. One such party interested to assume control of the club is Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.

A leading banker and the son of the former Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim has grand plans for Manchester United if he were to complete the takeover.

Indeed, according to BILD journalist Christian Falk, should Sheikh Jassim’s Group successfully complete their takeover bid at Manchester United, they plan to make a move for Real Madrid wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga in the summer.

Along with that, the potential new owners of Manchester United will also target a move for the Merengues’ long-term attacking target Kylian Mbappe.

Both players have been, at some point in their careers, linked with a move to Manchester United. But, it was Real Madrid who signed Camavinga in 2021 while they remain strongly linked with Mbappe, who could be targeted in 2024, when his PSG contract expires.

As for Camavinga, the 20-year-old has grown into a vital part of this Real Madrid setup after a slow start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu. In fact, the Frenchman has been one of the best players for the club in the second half of the ongoing campaign.

So much so that, Real Madrid are already working on renewing his contract despite the fact that his current deal already runs until 2027. The new deal could go up until 2029 and have a release clause worth €1 billion.

On top of that, it is also claimed that Camavinga is ‘crazy’ about Real Madrid and is very happy at the club. So, it is hard to imagine that Manchester United would be able to lure him away if Sheikh Jassim is successful in his takeover.

With Mbappe, however, such a scenario could emerge as the money that might be offered could possibly tempt the French superstar.

Harry Kane ‘very close’ to completing Real Madrid move, only final details remain – report

Jude Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid was finally closed earlier today as officially confirmed by Borussia Dortmund on their website. Yet, the offices at Santiago Bernabeu have not even taken a break to celebrate their success.

According to reports from Alfredo Pedullà, Los Blancos are now completely focused on the acquisition of Harry Kane. The English striker’s arrival is very close to approaching closure and only a few details remain to be sorted.

The Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur representatives reportedly held a meeting today over the striker’s transfer. The agenda was to agree on a number for the transfer fee.

The Premier League side began the proceedings with an expectation of €100 to €110 million in exchange for Kane. However, the Merengues suggested a lower point at €80 to €90 million, albeit with the option to include bonuses.

There is not much separating the two parties at the moment, and the minor gap will be bridged in the coming days. Overall, the meeting ended with a broad understanding between the two clubs.

Carlo Ancelotti sees the English striker as the centre-piece of his attack for next season given the recent departure of Karim Benzema. After all, Kane has been one of football’s most consistent goalscorers over the past decade.

Yet, Los Blancos cannot afford to let their guard down with one signing and will need to rope in at least two more names in attack to serve as backup options. The exits of Mariano Diaz, Marco Asensio, and Eden Hazard leave them with no squad depth, after all.

Kane has scored 30, 17, and 23 goals in his last three seasons in the Premier League and is the epitome of consistency. Further, he had three assists in his most recent league season and created 14 big chances.
