Kylian Mbappe has once again become the hot topic of the European football market. For a moment, it seemed the Frenchman might be tempted to move to Saudi Arabia, following Al Hilal’s gigantic offer.

But Mbappe has no desire to move to the Middle East. In fact, the forward is still projecting himself as a Paris Saint-Germain player for next season, according to Abdellah Boulma.

The French journalist suggests there won’t be any radical change to Mbappe’s transfer saga unless Real Madrid come up with an offer that suits all parties involved.

That could be a tricky task considering the fact that Mbappe has not shown any desire to leave PSG in the ongoing summer transfer window.

While Real Madrid are in a position to afford the attacker this summer, they wish to wait until late in the summer so that PSG are forced to accept a lower fee.

Mbappe’s current deal at Parc des Princes expires at the end of next season and he French champions have put him up for sale after failing to convince him to renew his contract.

Mbappe, after all, wants to realise his dream of becoming a Real Madrid player, sooner or later.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is batting for a 2024 move because of the loyalty bonus he would earn at PSG, coupled with a signing-on bonus that would be offered by Los Blancos.

At the same time, the Spanish giants do not want to take this opportunity for granted and are open to signing for the former AS Monaco starlet this summer, but they want the player or PSG to make the first move.

These are still early days, as far as the transfer market is concerned, but one thing is for sure – Real Madrid must soon make a decision, if they are to sign the French forward ahead of the new season.

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.

However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.

Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”

“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.

Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.

Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid

Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.

Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.

Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.

The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
