Real Madrid will take the short trip across town to the Civitas Metropolitano to take on Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 tomorrow night.

Coming on the back of a resounding win over Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final, Los Blancos will be eager to extend their unbeaten streak and secure a spot in the quarter-finals of the cup competition.

On the eve of the game, manager Carlo Ancelotti has released the squad list of players that will be at his disposal for the game against Atletico tomorrow night.

There are no major changes to the list that was available for the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia last week, with Lucas Vazquez, Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, and Eder Militao still out injured.

Rodrygo Goes is named in the squad despite missing training today due to a minor issue, although Ancelotti explained that the Brazilian would be fit for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, youngsters Mario Martin and Vinicius Tobias also make the cut, but there is no place for Nico Paz.

Real Madrid will face off against Real Betis in their final La Liga encounter of the 2023/24 season tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It will also be the final home game for Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos, who will be retiring this summer.

The German international has been named in the squad list and will get his chance to say goodbye to the Santiago Bernabeu faithful tomorrow.

Nacho Fernandez might also be playing his final game at the home of Real Madrid with his contract expiring at the end of the season and no renewal discussed.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, who will return to Chelsea after his loan spell, may also feature while youngster Mario Martin could get minutes in a third successive match.

David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni are the only two absentees for Real Madrid, with the pair set to miss the UCL final as well.
