With each passing day, speculations surrounding the future of Kylian Mbappe continue to grow as the player and PSG are at a total impasse, with Real Madrid watching closely from the sidelines.

The 24-year-old has made it clear that he does not wish to renew his contract beyond 2024 but wants to stay at the club this summer.

However, PSG have been firm on their stance that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner must leave this summer or sign a new contract as there is no way they will lose him on a free transfer next year.

Now, journalist Ramon Alvarez is reporting that the Ligue 1 champions are putting immense pressure on Mbappe to leave right away, which will come as a boost for Real Madrid in their pursuit of the French forward.

The report from the journalist adds that Mbappe has already turned down three new contract offers from PSG and as such the club are intent on offloading him right away.

In fact, Les Parisiens do not want the former AS Monaco ace to do the pre-season with the rest of the squad and want him out of the club by next week. PSG also believe that Mbappe will be joining Real Madrid if he does indeed leave the club.

So, they are applying pressure on the 24-year-old to accept their decision and leave. Furthermore, the attacker’s latest interview, where he appeared to slam PSG has not gone down too well with some of his teammates or the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

As such, things should accelerate over his departure in the coming days, with Real Madrid likely to benefit from this and sign their top target, potentially for a fee of over €200 million.

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.

However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.

Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”

“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.

Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.

Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid

Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.

Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.

Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.

The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
