It’s widely known that Florian Wirtz, the standout player from Bayer Leverkusen, is a major target for Real Madrid next year.

Adding to the context, a report from MARCA has said that the midfielder has agreed to stay with Leverkusen for one more year. However, he also has a promise to join Real Madrid in the summer of 2025.

Real Madrid have been quietly working on signing the German international. They started planning months ago, taking a steady approach without rushing but remaining clear on their goal.

Their aim is to bring the talented attacking midfielder to their team in 2025. While other teams have shown interest as well, Real Madrid remain calm and confident in their approach. They are not swayed by rumours or actions from other clubs.

Real Madrid’s policy with Wirtz

When it comes to Wirtz and other players, Real Madrid have a strict policy and does not go beyond certain limits, despite challenges or speculation in the media.

They are confident in their strategy and believe that their message has reached the German international, who needs to agree to join them.

Other players like Leny Yoro and Alphonso Davies are also being considered, but they will have to make sacrifices to join Real Madrid.

Wirtz to Madrid is gaining strength

It is said that the agents and sporting directors, who claimed last November that Kylian Mbappe would join Real Madrid, are now saying there is already a commitment between Real Madrid and Wirtz for 2025.

Despite reports in Germany about this commitment and the potential deal being worth €150 million, Barcelona have also shown interest in Wirtz for 2025, however, this hasn’t caused any concern for Real Madrid.

Interestingly, German media mentioned the €150 million figure for Wirtz’s transfer, which matches what Leverkusen’s general manager Fernando Carro said on Radio MARCA months ago.

It is surprising that with the entire summer transfer window ahead, there is already talk about Wirtz joining in 2025. While he has agreed to stay with Bayer Leverkusen for another season, the wait seems long for everyone involved.

France NT growing concerned about Real Madrid star’s fitness ahead of Euros

Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni is currently with the French National Team in preparation for the upcoming European Championships.

Didier Deschamps and Co. were hoping that the defensive midfielder would make a complete recovery from the stress injury on his left foot in time for the Euros, but his situation does not appear as favourable any longer.

With the commencement of the competition approaching fast, the French setup are worried and must make a decision fast, as revealed by SPORT.

Long time out

Les Bleus are still living in the optimism that Tchouameni will make it back in time for the premier event. With every passing day, however, the Real Madrid star’s availability is looking more distant.

After all, the deep-lying midfielder last played over a month ago in Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich. Since then, he missed four league games, the UCL final and two friendly games with the national team.

Should the Frenchman recover in time, there will be questions raised about his match-fitness and rightly so for 40 days is a very long hiatus in the world of football.

Urgent decision

The medical team of the French national setup have reportedly devised a specific plan to ensure that the youngster recovers at the earliest and is available for the event in Germany.

Deschamps, however, has a critical decision to make as he will not be allowed to make any changes to his squad after the tournament begins. His deadline, thus, is the 17th of June before his team’s clash against Austria.

The manager hopes to recover Tchouameni at all costs and will likely wait until the nth minute before taking a decision.

Should a replacement be required, a UEFA Medical Committee doctor will have to confirm that the injury is indeed as serious as the camp believe.
