Real Madrid calm over their pursuit of 16-year-old wonderkid also on Barcelona’s radar

Since Endrick has started to generate a ton of hype as arguably the most gifted youngster in Brazilian football, Real Madrid have been linked with a move for him in the near future.
However, the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United have been reported to be eyeing a switch for the teenage sensation. The latter are said to have made contact with Palmeiras about a move for the 16-year-old whizkid.
Despite the speculation around other top European sides being interested in signing the prodigious striker, a key factor behind why Los Blancos remain confident about being frontrunners in the race for his signature have been revealed.
As per the latest information provided by MARCA, Real Madrid are well informed about each and every move around the Palmeiras prodigy, as he shares the same agency with none other than Vinicius Jr.
Keeping this in mind, it has been affirmed that the club are ‘calm’ about all the rumours surrounding the in-demand talent.
Ultimately, it is next to impossible to look past the European champions when it comes to a club that has a stranglehold over the Brazilian market.
The signings of Casemiro, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo from Sao Paulo, Flamengo and Santos respectively were coups that emphasised that the Spanish giants were truly ahead of the curve.
Snapping up three unearthed gems and turning them into some of the very best players in their position, the side from the Spanish capital cannot be questioned when it comes to their eye for talent in Brazil, with Endrick at the top of their agenda currently despite links to the likes of Joao Gomes and Matheus Nascimento, among others.
It is expected that a number of other top sides will not relent in their pursuit to sign the highly-rated wonderkid. However, Real Madrid tend to win any and every transfer race, considering the size of the club and the project in place. The same is likely to occur in Endrick’s case.

U-turn? Benzema hints at Real Madrid stay during ceremony: “Reality is not the internet”

There has been a lot of talk around Karim Benzema’s situation over the course of the last week or so, with reports claiming that the Frenchman was on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu.
With his contract expiring at the end of the season, it was reported that Benzema was joining Al Ittihad as part of an incredible deal worth nearly €200 million. The striker was also offered 100% of his image rights and advertising deals by the Saudi government.
Over the last day or so, it has been reported that the move is all but official at the moment, as Benzema has accepted the offer, and will soon inform Real Madrid about it.
Benzema was awarded the MARCA Leyenda awards for contribution to sports today, and speaking during it, he dropped a rather cryptic message about his future – one that says quite the opposite to what has been in the news recently.
“Speak to the fans? Speak about what? Why should I speak of the future if I’m in Madrid?”, Benzema said.
“It’s the internet speaking, and reality is not the internet,” he added.
This certainly falls away from the departure line for Benzema, who was reportedly already contemplating his life away from Madrid.
At first, though, he was hesitant about speaking about his future, saying, “Staying or leaving Real Madrid? At the moment, I’m here…we have a game on Saturday.”
He repeatedly talked about the fans, calling them the best in world football. He also said, “I know how much Real Madrid fans love me. I feel that when I’m on the pitch, I give my best for them, always.”
“I always say that we play with 11 on the pitch but also with a crucial factor, Real Madrid fans,” Benzema concluded.
