Although there is much excitement over Real Madrid possibly winning their 15th Champions League title next month, the club have already kickstarted their preparations for the season ahead.

The likely arrival of Kylian Mbappe, coupled with the few more signings have left the Real Madrid fans buzzing. However, despite the new signings, it appears the club have not lost track of their existing stars.

Joselu, Endrick to remain in Real Madrid

Despite the anticipated arrival of Kylian Mbappe, a recent update from the Daily Briefing suggests the club plans to keep both Endrick and surprise hero Joselu in the squad next season.

This bold move signifies a shift in strategy for Carlo Ancelotti, acknowledging the demanding schedule that awaits Los Blancos.

The upcoming season promises to be a marathon, not a sprint. With the revamped Champions League format introducing a single group stage with more matches, coupled with the usual domestic battles, squad depth will be crucial. This is where Endrick and Joselu come in.

Endrick, the Brazilian wonderkid, represents the future of the attack. His lightning pace, clinical finishing, and impressive dribbling skills offer a dynamic option off the bench.

Joselu, on the other hand, has proven his worth with his unexpected clutch performances. His experience, aerial prowess, and ability to hold up play provide a different attacking dimension.

That is the reason Real Madrid have opted to retain the veteran’s services and are likely to utilise him as a ‘Plan B’ going forward.

With Vinicius Junior and Mbappe the undisputed leaders, having a mix of explosive youth and experienced back-up ensures Real Madrid can navigate a congested fixture list without compromising on quality.

According to a recent report from Defensa Central, Manchester United have set their sights on Real Madrid forward Joselu and for that, they are prepared to make a generous offer to lure him, proposing a two-year contract with an impressive salary of €5 million net per year.

Manchester United’s interest in signing Joselu has grown in recent months. His reputation has been on the rise, and United are willing to go all out to secure his signature.

At Real Madrid, the forward’s exceptional performance, particularly his two crucial goals in the European Cup semi-final against Bayern Munich, has made a significant impression.

It is said that this performance highlighted the importance of keeping a strong squad, and Joselu’s contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Real Madrid can sign him

While Joselu is currently committed to Espanyol until June 2024, Real Madrid hold a potential purchase option for him

The cost of this option is relatively low, but it is important to note that Real Madrid’s roster is quite full, with limited space for new players.

Despite this, Joselu’s previous stint in the Premier League has not been forgotten, and Manchester United remains keenly interested in bringing him back to England.

Joselu is an old-school forward who knows what it means to face some of the toughest defences in the world. He understands the challenges and the battles that come with playing at the highest level.

United love Joselu

Even if he is not guaranteed a starting position, his experience and knack for scoring goals make him a valuable addition to any team.

Manchester United see these qualities in Joselu and believes he could be a significant asset to their squad.

In England, there is talk of a lucrative two-year contract on the table for the Galician footballer. This deal would significantly boost Joselu’s salary, offering him €5 million net per year.

This substantial increase in his earnings is a key part of United’s strategy to tempt him away from Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training complex.

Carlo Ancelotti and his staff are very pleased with Joselu’s performance as he has proven to be more than just a team player, but there is a chance that they might still lose him this summer.
