Real Madrid defender Nacho ends his contract at the end of the season and while there are no movements in that regard as of today, the player wishes to continue at least until 2024.

It’s only given that he wants to end his career at Real Madrid mostly because he has been here since he was 11. But now that he is months away from turning 33, there are claims that he is receiving offers from clubs abroad.

Speaking in the context, Spanish publication AS says several teams from the Major League Soccer (MLS) are seeing him as a lucrative option because of his vast experience and his heritage with Real Madrid.

Nacho, who is the third captain of Real Madrid after Karim Benzema and Luka Modric, is being looked upon as a target for the upcoming winter transfer window. For that, David Beckham’s Inter Miami are quoted to be one destination, but the 32-year-old does not want to leave the team at the moment.

For now, he is making every effort to renew his current deal until 2024 as he feels settled and everyone at the club appreciates his professionalism. Even the manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is grateful for the fact that despite the lack of minutes this season, the player is not complaining much.

Meanwhile, apart from the MLS, Nacho has also attracted interest from within the continent, with AS crediting Serie A side AC Milan with an interest. The Italian champions have been chasing him since last summer, but nothing concrete materialised.

Other teams keeping a close tab on his situation are Jose Mourinho’s Roma and Julen Lopetegui’s Wolves.

For now, any move in the January transfer window can be ruled out as he is yet to play his 300th career game for Madrid. So if anything is to happen, one can expect it to take place in the summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool are all monitoring Bayer Leverkusen and Germany wonderkid Florian Wirtz.

After recovering from his ACL injury, the teenage sensation has been slowly working his way back to his best form. So far this term, Wirtz has managed to rack up a tally of two goals and six assists from 13 matches in all competitions.

The 19-year-old’s talent and potential have never been in question and hence it does not come as a surprise that elite clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool are all keeping tabs on the German international.

A versatile attacking midfielder, Wirtz is capable of playing anywhere in the final third of the pitch and backs up with top-notch end product. Be it as a false-nine or in a more withdrawn role, the youngster has excelled for Bayer Leverkusen, catching the attention of top teams.

Real Madrid, for their part, are also understood to be among Wirtz’s admirers. Given the situation surrounding Karim Benzema’s fitness and the lack of backup at the top, the youngster could be an option, as he has shown potential while operating through the middle.

But Barcelona also have a strong interest in the teenager with reports even suggesting that they have already made contact with his father to enquire about his situation.

At the same time, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be a huge admirer of his fellow German and with Roberto Firmino on his way out, Wirtz could be lined up as a possible replacement.

However, Romano adds that the expectation is that Wirtz could stay at Bayer Leverkusen for one more year and depart Germany once the UEFA Euro 2024 is out of the way.

For now, there have been talks or negotiations with any clubs, but Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool are all tracking Wirtz and his progress in Germany.
