Even though the January transfer window is behind us, PSG superstar and Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe has continued to dominate the headlines, as far as the market is concerned.

The forward remains a hot topic in European football, as he looks to take the next big step in his career.

After coming close to the doorstep of the Santiago Bernabeu two times in a row, Mbappe knows this year is going to be his last chance to seal a move to Real Madrid and finally put an end to his spell at PSG.

Optimism in the Real Madrid camp over Mbappe

A recent report from Jorge Picon has offered an exciting update on the future of Kylian Mbappe.

The Spanish journalist suggests there is optimism in the Real Madrid camp over Mbappe. Confidence within Valdebebas has skyrocketed, even reaching the first-team locker room.

Many within the Real Madrid squad believe something is happening, with regard to Mbappe and the forward may finally agree to come to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 25-year-old French superstar has good relationships with several Real Madrid players like Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr., and Ferland Mendy. And there is a wave of positivity within the locker room regarding his arrival in the summer.

Mbappe’s potential arrival, of course, will have major consequences, as far as the first-team dynamics are concerned.

What is Real Madrid’s offer?

However, before Mbappe finally commits to Real Madrid, the forward will likely to take a detailed look at the options available at his disposal.

As things stand, Real Madrid are reportedly willing to hand Mbappe a salary of €15 million, with a €60 million signing bonus.

This is significantly lower than what PSG are willing to propose. Therefore, it won’t come as a surprise to see Mbappe taking a bit more time to decide his future and this transfer saga looks destined to drag on, for at least a few more days, if not weeks.

As has been reported by multiple reliable sources today, Alphonso Davies is likely to be on his way to Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in the summer.

It has been suggested that the 23-year-old Canadian left-back already has a verbal agreement with Los Blancos over a transfer either this summer or in 2025, when his contract with the Bundesliga champions runs down.

Now, the idea is for Real Madrid to start negotiations with Bayern Munich over a transfer fee so that a mutually beneficial agreement can be reached for the summer window.

Real Madrid will not pay crazy money

Amidst all this, Fabrizio Romano has come out with an update claiming that Real Madrid do not intend to pay ‘crazy money’ to sign Davies from Bayern Munich given that he will be entering the final year of his contract.

The Italian transfer expert claims that Real Madrid have been the preferred destination for Davies for a while now and that the personal terms between the two parties will not be an issue at all.

So, a summer move would now hinge on Bayern Munich’s asking price for their left-back.

Romano states that the Bavarian giants will attempt to tie Davies down to a new contract until May or even June.

But if the left-back, who is demanding hefty wages worth around €20 million, does not agree to sign, they will be forced to sell instead of losing him for free next year.

In that scenario, Real Madrid will be best-placed to sign Davies, although Los Blancos will not go overboard with their spending on the Canadian.
