Real Madrid have identified three key targets for the club’s long-term project

Florentino Perez’s management of the sporting situation at Real Madrid has been phenomenal. Despite the club continually losing big stars year after year, the level of play on the field has seldom seen a drop.
Such a seamless transition to a new generation can only be attributed to the timely signing and inclusion of younger players. Now, the men in white’s next generation are not very far away from another blockbuster lineup to dominate the next decade of football.
According to reports from MARCA, Los Blancos have carefully studied their situation and the market opportunity. The administration feels the current setup requires three more signings to complete the squad – Kylian Mbappe, Arda Güler and Alphonso Davies.
The French forward has been on the club’s radar for a long time now. He is, in fact, Real Madrid’s priority signing for the ongoing window although it now appears that he will not arrive until 2024.
The second name, Alphonso Davies, is also not an unexpected feature on the list. The Canadian international was also considered to be an option for the ongoing transfer window and is deeply admired at the Santiago Bernabeu as one of the best in the business.
Considering Real Madrid’s struggles at left-back in recent years, Davies would be the ideal addition to solidify the fortress at the back. Needless to say, a lot will depend on Fran Garcia’s performance in the coming season.
Last, but not least, is the Turkish sensation, Arda Güler. The 18-year-old has been making headlines for all the right reasons after a stunning season in the Super Lig with Fenerbahce, and is slated for a big money move in the coming future.
Real Madrid are already pursuing his signing this summer with the intention of loaning him back to Fenerbahce for the next season.
However, as it stands, reports state that Real Madrid will not involve in much business in the rest of the ongoing transfer window. Having spent a fortune on Jude Bellingham’s acquisition, a signing will be made only if considered absolutely necessary.

Official: Real Madrid starting lineup against Las Palmas

Real Madrid will be looking to return to winning ways as they get set to take on UD Las Palmas in a couple of hours at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Following the derby debacle against Atletico de Madrid last weekend, it is imperative for Los Merengues to bounce back strongly tonight.
With kick-off not very long away, Carlo Ancelotti has announced the starting lineup that will be stepping onto the pitch to face Las Palmas.
Ancelotti has changed things a fair bit from the derby defeat, with both Luka Modric and Toni Kroos dropping to the bench.
But the biggest surprise is that Jude Bellingham has also been rested by the Real Madrid boss.
Instead, Real Madrid go in with the quartet of Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Brahim Diaz in their diamond midfield setup. The latter makes his first start for Real Madrid this season.
Up top, Joselu returns to the starting lineup, pairing up alongside Rodrygo Goes while Vinicius Jr remains on the bench, having only recently returned from an injury.
At the back, club captain Nacho Fernandez starts his first game of the season at the expense of Lucas Vazquez at right-back. Ferland Mendy also gets a look-in at left-back while David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger make up the rearguard that will shield Kepa Arrizabalaga.
