Real Madrid have no communication with Mbappe or PSG, €400 million price tag exceeds their budget

The latest update on Kylian Mbappe’s future is out, and it does not bode well for his fairytale move to Real Madrid.

According to reports from Jose Felix Diaz, Los Blancos have denied any contact with Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain. There is no communication with either party, nor an effort to open a negotiation at this point.

The administration believes that the arrival of Mbappe this summer will cost at least €400 million, a sum that exceeds the club’s budget.

Moreover, there is also a concern around the internal environment. Real Madrid’s leaders believe that the Frenchman’s arrival in the locker room could lead to some uncomfortable situations.

The scenario plays into the Merengues‘ hands, for Nasser Al-Khelaifi knows that the player’s price tag will fall as days go by. Right now, the offices at Valdebebas are said to have turned a blind eye to the developments in France and a move this summer looks unlikely.

Earlier this week, the World Cup winner spoke publicly about how he felt at PSG, the limitations of the Ligue 1 side and elaborated on his decision to leave. His repeated jibes at the French club through the interview clearly do not leave him in a good spot in Paris.

“I think that playing at PSG does not help much because it is a divided team, a divided club. So, of course, it attracts gossip but it doesn’t bother me because I know what I’m doing,” he said.

It is high time the youngster buckles up and makes open advances towards negotiating an exit with PSG. Not only are the Ligue 1 champions’ administrators and players fed up with his antics, but he is also beginning to get on the nerves of Real Madrid.

There will be no further advancements from Los Blancos in his regard. The ball now lies in Mbappe’s court, and it remains to be seen how he responds.

Real Madrid’s game against Las Palmas this midweek was an important one for the club.

The Spanish giants secured a 2-0 victory over the Canaries. But more importantly, the game witnessed the return of Vinicius Junior, who was coming back from an injury.

However, it was not the most pleasing return from the Brazilian, who had an altercation with head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Dispute ends without a handshake

A video has surfaced recently which shows that Vinicius Junior and Ancelotti even ended the game without even shaking hands.

The altercation started when Ancelotti was seen talking to Vinicius, asking him to play more freely.

Vinicius, though, was not happy with the Italian’s tactics. He pointed out his disagreement with Ancelotti and highlighted the team’s lack of structure.

Ancelotti continued to yell at the Brazilian, asking him to play a certain way. The matters turned worse when Vini continued to turn his back on the Real Madrid coach.

After the final whistle, the Brazilian international did glance past Ancelotti without even shaking his hand.

Ancelotti under pressure

This is a worrying sign for Real Madrid and an indicator that the team is not entirely happy with Ancelotti, who has faced criticism despite a relatively good start to the season.

Although the Real Madrid board has continued to back the former AC Milan and PSG coach, the Italian is certainly running on thin ice.

The upcoming games against Girona, Napoli and Osasuna could be crucial as Real Madrid look to maintain their winning momentum, especially following a derby defeat to Atleti.

In the meantime, Ancelotti must definitely have a word with Vinicius and calm the Brazilian, knowing the attacker could play a key role in revving up the team’s offensive unit in the coming weeks.
