Real Madrid loanee Reinier Jesus talks Ancelotti, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Frosinone

Real Madrid loanee Reinier Jesus has thanked Carlo Ancelotti for spreading good words about him in Italy.
Reinier, 21, moved to newly-promoted Serie A club Frosinone on loan until the end of the season. While he is yet to make his debut for the new team, he has already been presented to the fans.
Reinier happy to have joined Frosinone
The 21-year-old Brazilian spoke to MARCA, and said he is very happy about the decision he made, which was in line with his father as well as Ancelotti.
“I am very happy to stay here, I chose it together with my father. I wanted to be in a team that had great players and a great coach who likes to play with the team.
“It’s a very young team, I want to stay here and get to know this new culture, this new football. They welcomed me very well and I’m happy to be here and I aim to do well,” he added.
What happened at Real Madrid?
Reinier joined Madrid in January 2020 from Brazilian side Flamengo for a fee reported to be around €30 million. In August of that year, he was sent to Borussia Dortmund for a loan tenure of two years.
Upon returning, he was sent to Girona for another loan spell and once he was back at Madrid, he simply had no place in a team that had VInicius Jr, Rodrygo and a plethora of other talents.
Speaking about the situation at Real Madrid, Reinier said:
“Rodrygo and Vinicius are two great footballers, two friends. I follow them a lot to learn. Vinicius also had some problems but I work in silence and with my head down.
“Many people talk because I come from Real Madrid, but I work with humility and in silence. It is a pleasure to be here, I want to help this team and I am convinced that everyone will help me express myself as best as possible.”
Lastly, he went on to thank Ancelotti for his help, saying, “When I arrived in Italy one of the first things I knew was that coach Ancelotti had spoken about me.
“I am very happy because he is a great coach. It is an honour because he is the coach of Real Madrid, the most important club in history and the world,” he concluded.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
