Real Madrid locker room in awe of new arrival: “Been playing with that shirt all his life”

Real Madrid’s new signing Jude Bellingham has made quite an impact at the club in such a short time. The young midfielder has not only managed to impress the fans but his adaptiveness has left everyone at the club in awe.
Adding to it, Spanish publication MARCA writes that there is a piece of floating news from the locker room that “it seems he [Bellingham] has been playing with that [white] shirt all his life.”
In fact, those at the club consider his adaptation as complete and absolute. From the first day of signing, the 20-year-old has identified what he needs to do to be successful at the club and for that, he has been putting in extra effort.
Shining start to a new life
The former Bermingham City midfielder joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund for an initial fee reported to be around €103 million. The figure could rise up to €133.9 million if certain criteria are met.
The 20-year-old, who is a Zinedine Zidane fan, made a thumping start to his life at Real Madrid. In his first game for the club, a pre-season friendly against AC Milan, the 20-year-old put the fans on the edge of their seat.

In the next match, against Manchester United, he scored his debut goal for Madrid in a 2-0 win. The goal was a sheer treat for every Madridista as Bellingham chipped the ball over rushing goalkeeper Andre Onana in a perfect style.
Will he be a regular starter?
As reported earlier, manager Carlo Ancelotti already has an idea of his starting XI for the 2023-24 season and Bellingham, alongside Eduardo Camavinga, is certain to lead Madrid’s midfield.
The duo can be joined by Aurelien Tchouameni or anyone else from the roster but the places of Bellingham and Camavinga are more than certain.
Great things are expected of Bellingham and the early signs are that the 20-year-old is set to shine in Spain.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
