Amid growing noise around dressing room tensions at Real Madrid, a fresh update has brought some clarity, at least regarding Vinicius Jr.
According to journalist Alberto Pereiro, speaking on Radioestadio Noche, the Brazilian forward remains one of the most respected and well-liked figures inside the Madrid dressing room.
Addressing the recent speculation around internal issues, Pereiro explained that Vinicius is far from being part of any problem, stating, “everyone loves him dearly. In fact, he is probably the most popular player.”
This comes at a time when Real Madrid’s dressing room has been under heavy scrutiny.
Reports in recent weeks have pointed towards tensions involving several key figures, including Dani Carvajal, Dani Ceballos, and Kylian Mbappe, as well as manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
These issues have raised questions about the team’s unity during a crucial phase of the season.
A leader on the field
However, Vinicius’ situation appears completely different. The Brazilian has continued to focus on performances, recently delivering a standout display with a brace in the 2-0 win over Espanyol.
On the pitch, he remains one of the team’s most decisive players, consistently stepping up when needed.
Even off the pitch, there are no concerns about his relationship with teammates.
Despite ongoing delays in his contract renewal, there is no indication that it has affected his standing within the squad. His influence and presence in the dressing room remain strong.

Just in: Real Madrid reach six-year renewal agreement until 2032 with young playmaker – Romano
In a major update, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid and Arda Guler have reached an agreement over a contract renewal for the young playmaker.
This development comes only a little after reports emerged stating that Los Blancos had begun work on extending the Turkish international’s contract.
Six-year extension for Guler
As per the update from Romano, Guler and Real Madrid have agreed on terms over a new six-year contract which will see the 21-year-old starlet commit to the club until the summer of 2032.
The former Fenerbahce had no hesitation in saying yes, having steadily grown into an important player at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid signed Guler from Fenebahce back in the summer of 2023, beating arch-rivals FC Barcelona to his signing.
Having arrived as a teenager, the Turkish starlet had to bide his time to gain prominence in the team despite showing his immense potential and quality regularly.
Now, Guler is seen as one of Real Madrid’s most important cogs under Jose Mourinho, cementing his place in the team on the right flank, even ahead of the club’s €140 million summer signing Yan Diomande.
So far this term, Guler has played four matches in all competitions, scoring and assisting one goal apiece for the Merengues.
He missed this week’s UEFA Champions League opener against Inter Milan due to a suspension.
Securing the future
Guler’s current contract with Real Madrid stood to run until 2029, but with his growing stature within the team, the club have moved quickly to secure his long-term future.
The 21-year-old is now expected to extend his stay at the Bernabeu until 2032, while also seeing a substantial increase in his salary at the club.
Following the renewal of Vinicius Jr. during the summer, Real Madrid continue to consolidate their squad, with Guler’s extension now all but completed.
Thibaut Courtois is also in line for a new deal, with a meeting set for the coming weeks, while the Merengues are also expected to begin talks over an extension for key midfielder Jude Bellingham.
