Over the past few weeks, the links between Real Madrid and Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga have been spreading like wildfire.

The 20-year-old midfielder has quickly become an in-demand commodity in the transfer market after a brilliant breakthrough campaign this season, and Real Madrid are said to be admirers, along with several top teams from the Premier League.

But, according to MARCA, Real Madrid are ‘not contemplating’ signing Veiga in the upcoming summer transfer window.

This comes a day after reports in Spain suggested that Los Blancos had met with Celta Vigo officials to discuss the possibility of a transfer for the young midfielder.

Veiga has been in fine form for the Galician outfit this summer and has made a huge impression, especially with his goalscoring knack from midfield.

And the Merengues are in the market for reinforcements in the middle of the park thanks to the situations surrounding Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Dani Ceballos.

Jude Bellingham remains the top priority for Real Madrid, but Veiga’s name has also been mentioned as a target of late. But, sources from the club have informed MARCA that they are not looking to sign the 20-year-old, who has a €40 million release clause in his contract.

“Of course, he is a good player, but we are not contemplating his signing. Now we are in full competition and attentive to other matters,” sources have told MARCA.

Veiga is also reportedly being targeted by some top Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. But, it seems like Real Madrid, at this point, are not in the race for his signing despite reports claiming otherwise.

Only time will tell if the Merengues are actually not contemplating his signing or if this is a tactic to keep the transfer under the radar until it is actually completed.

Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid has sparked a frenzy among football fans, with the club swiftly making his iconic jersey available for purchase starting July 11.

Notably, before July 11, eager fans could not get their hands on a jersey featuring Mbappe’s name and number 9, as he was under contract with PSG until June 30.

However, once the clock struck July 11, enthusiasts could finally purchase his jerseys in various styles, prompting a rapid sell-out at the Adidas store within hours.

The pricing of these jerseys has garnered significant attention, varying not only by size but also by the type of jersey—Replica or Authentic—that fans choose, reports Diario AS.

Initially, the Real Madrid online store listed the Replica version of Mbappe’s jersey at €100, while the Authentic version, identical to those worn by the team’s players, was priced at €160.

The highest-priced option is the Authentic Mbappe Men’s Home Kit Shirt, retailing at €185. This premium version allows fans to add additional patches such as La Liga or Champions League badges for an extra charge.

Surprisingly, the women’s version of the jersey is priced equivalently, reflecting gender-neutral pricing practices, while the children’s edition is slightly more affordable at €130.

Furthermore, even the youngest fans can join in the excitement with a baby version of the jersey priced at €80.

Meanwhile, for those looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Mbappe Men’s Home Shirt comes in at €120.

Fans can customize these shirts with either a La Liga or Champions League patch for an additional €15, affixed uniquely on the right sleeve, opposite the iconic HP logo on the left, a prominent sponsor of the club.

These prices apply to the short-sleeved versions; opting for long sleeves incurs a slightly lower cost.
