This has proven to be a busy transfer window for Jude Bellingham. The club have witnessed an exodus of sorts, with Karim Benzema, Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio ending their contracts while Eden Hazard’s contract was terminated.

Despite the changes, Real Madrid’s squad remain largely unresolved, with many still facing an uncertain future at the club. One of them is Alvaro Odriozola.

The former Fiorentina starlet has faced a difficult time at the Bernabeu, failing to gain prominence in the senior side. His situation won’t get better in the coming season, despite Real Madrid’s apparent lack of options in the fullback department.

With that in mind, Odriozola is now considering a move away from Bernabeu, reports COPE. The right-back initially did not want to leave the club, but he is now open to a departure, after receiving ‘many offers’.

A product of the Real Sociedad youth academy, Odriozola has a strong market despite his recent struggles at Real Madrid, with his former club being one of his admirers. The likes of Juventus and Athletic Club are also tracking the situation of the right-back this summer.

Real Madrid are unlikely to oppose Odriozola’s sale, as the player has clearly fallen out of favour. The club do have a shortage of right-backs, but everything suggests they will continue counting on the services of Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal, at least for next season.

Los Blancos have been linked with some right-backs such as Reece James and Achraf Hakimi this summer, but it is unlikely that the club would spend a fortune on either, especially at a time when they must preserve cash to sign Kylian Mbappe, either this year or the next.

As for Odriozola, the Spaniard is set to be on his way out and with no shortage of offers, it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.

However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.

Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”

“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.

Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.

Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid

Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.

Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.

Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.

The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
