Brazil are set to kickstart their FIFA World Cup campaign later this evening, with Real Madrid trio Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo expected to play a crucial role in the country’s hopes of reclaiming the coveted title.

And, Real Madrid are focused on roping in more Brazilian talents, with Endrick emerging as one of their top targets in recent weeks.

The Palmeiras whizkid is one of the hottest prospects in world football right now, having enjoyed a major breakthrough in professional football at the age of just 16. Real Madrid are believed to be among the clubs that are keen on luring him to Europe.

A recent report from Fabrizio Romano has offered an update on the future of Endrick as well. The Italian transfer expert suggests Paris Saint-Germain, one of the favourites to sign the youngster, have yet to reach an agreement with Palmeiras.

Even though Endrick’s father had publicly confirmed the bid from PSG, the French giants have not been able to find an agreement with the Brazilian outfit, who are determined to extract the most of their prized asset.

This serves as a major boost for Real Madrid, who still remain in the contest and are one of the clubs in contention to sign the player, even though they are yet to lodge an official bid.

The Spanish giants have enjoyed immense success with Brazilian talents in recent years, with the likes of Vinicius and Rodrygo both becoming integral members of the first-team. Endrick, to that end, could be yet another smart long-term investment for the club.

However, Real Madrid should not rule out the competition from Chelsea, another club involved in this chase. Earlier reports had even claimed that Endrick was keen on playing for the Blues due to the lure of the Premier League, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds of the player.

According to AS, Atletico Madrid have made the first approach for Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, who has also been linked heavily with a move to Real Madrid and Arsenal.

The 20-year-old midfielder has emerged as one of the most exciting young prospects in Spanish football this season, having already netted nine goals in La Liga.

It has alerted a series of top-level clubs, with the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid all being linked with the youngster, who has a €40 million release clause in his contract with Celta.

Real Madrid are in the market for midfield reinforcements and have identified Jude Bellingham as their top target, but Veiga is also said to be on the agenda at the Santiago Bernabeu

However, recently, the Galician club’s president confirmed that there had been contact from clubs in England, but stated that Real Madrid had made no approach.

On top of that, a report from MARCA quoted a club source saying that they were not contemplating signing the 20-year-old.

Amidst this, it has now emerged that Atletico Madrid have made an approach towards signing Veiga from Celta Vigo in the summer transfer window.

The Rojiblancos are also in the market for new midfielders amid question marks over the futures of Saul Niguez and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

While Diego Simeone’s side have taken a first step, the report indicates that Veiga, in case of the absence of interest from Real Madrid, would prefer to join Arsenal.

So, the Colchoneros will need to put in efforts to convince the 20-year-old to choose them over a move to the Premier League club come summer if they are serious about adding the talented youngster to their roster for next season.
