Real Madrid’s special comeback win over Atletico Madrid gifted them with a place in the final of the Supercopa de Espana. Last night, the second semifinal played out and Barcelona emerged victorious to join Los Blancos in the title clash.

Goals from Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal helped the Catalans get the better of Osasuna and earn a place in the finale. On Sunday night, the Superclasico finale will decide who lifts the title of the Spanish Super Cup champions.

Real Madrid do not rest

According to reports from Gonzalo de Martorell, Real Madrid are not taking the competition lightly. They are the favourites to take home the title on Sunday given their rich run of form, yet, understand that they must not be complacent.

As revealed by the Spanish journalist, a member of Real Madrid’s staff was present at the Barcelona vs Osasuna game at Al-Awwal stadium to record the game with a tactical camera and aid in Carlo Ancelotti’s preparation.

Needless to say, the output of his effort will serve as the crux based on which the Italian manager will draw his game plan.

Barcelona pulled the same trick

As highlighted by the media yesterday, Real Madrid are not the only camp hoping to learn a thing or two from the opposition’s clash.

Barcelona sent a member of their coaching staff to Al-Awwal Stadium on Wednesday night to spy on the Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid game. Toni Lobo, David Prats, and Sergio Garcia were all present to analyze the match and take notes so as to aid Xavi’s planning.

Special attention was paid to set-pieces, for it has been a growing trend to score from the dead ball in recent Real Madrid games.

With both teams going all out to get an insider’s view of the other, one can tell that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are ready to go all out when they lock horns on Sunday.

One can expect a thrilling encounter between the two Spanish giants with nail-biting action until the end.

According to a recent report from Defensa Central, Manchester United have set their sights on Real Madrid forward Joselu and for that, they are prepared to make a generous offer to lure him, proposing a two-year contract with an impressive salary of €5 million net per year.

Manchester United’s interest in signing Joselu has grown in recent months. His reputation has been on the rise, and United are willing to go all out to secure his signature.

At Real Madrid, the forward’s exceptional performance, particularly his two crucial goals in the European Cup semi-final against Bayern Munich, has made a significant impression.

It is said that this performance highlighted the importance of keeping a strong squad, and Joselu’s contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Real Madrid can sign him

While Joselu is currently committed to Espanyol until June 2024, Real Madrid hold a potential purchase option for him

The cost of this option is relatively low, but it is important to note that Real Madrid’s roster is quite full, with limited space for new players.

Despite this, Joselu’s previous stint in the Premier League has not been forgotten, and Manchester United remains keenly interested in bringing him back to England.

Joselu is an old-school forward who knows what it means to face some of the toughest defences in the world. He understands the challenges and the battles that come with playing at the highest level.

United love Joselu

Even if he is not guaranteed a starting position, his experience and knack for scoring goals make him a valuable addition to any team.

Manchester United see these qualities in Joselu and believes he could be a significant asset to their squad.

In England, there is talk of a lucrative two-year contract on the table for the Galician footballer. This deal would significantly boost Joselu’s salary, offering him €5 million net per year.

This substantial increase in his earnings is a key part of United’s strategy to tempt him away from Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training complex.

Carlo Ancelotti and his staff are very pleased with Joselu’s performance as he has proven to be more than just a team player, but there is a chance that they might still lose him this summer.
