Transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano (ht. Madrid Xtra) has affirmed that Real Madrid’s new signing Jude Bellingham is absolutely loving the new environment at the Spanish capital.

The talented English midfielder has formed strong bonds with his new teammates, sharing a deep sense of companionship both on and off the pitch.

Furthermore, his admiration extends beyond the playing squad, says Romano as he holds immense respect for the club’s head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, and its president, Florentino Perez.

Wants to be a part of Real Madrid for as long as possible

With such a profound connection to the club and the city in general, it is clear that Bellingham intends to remain a part of Real Madrid for a significant duration.

In the words of Romano himself, the former Borussia Dortmund man wishes to stay at Madrid for a long time simply because he loves the club with all his heart.

Perfect start to a new life

Bellingham’s transition to life in Madrid has been nothing short of extraordinary, as he swiftly cemented his status as both a regular fixture in the starting lineup and an adored fan favourite.

His impact on the pitch has been nothing short of remarkable, with an impressive five goals and an assist in just four appearances for the reigning European champions.

To put this into context, during his debut season with Dortmund, he managed a mere league goal, followed by a modest three in his second year in Germany.

What truly sets Bellingham apart in his new environment is the freedom he enjoys under the guidance of Ancelotti. As the team’s number 10, he not only finds the back of the net but also exerts a profound influence in the heart of the team.

His presence on the field not only boosts his personal statistics but also elevates the performance of those around him.

This newfound liberty to express himself and make a significant impact on the team’s success has undoubtedly been a crucial factor in Bellingham’s stellar start to his Madrid adventure.

Real Madrid closely monitoring €70 million-rated Liverpool ace’s situation

Real Madrid are always alert to promising market opportunities, as was seen by their free-transfer signings of David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger in recent transfer windows.

Coming into this summer, Los Blancos have been credited with an interest in another free agent, Adrien Rabiot, as a possible reinforcement in midfield.

The Merengues are also looking at Alphonso Davies as a target, considering his contract at Bayern Munich expires in 2025, with the idea being to sign him for a cut-price fee this summer or for free next year.

Real Madrid watching Trent Alexander-Arnold

Now, Fabrizio Romano (h/t Madrid Xtra) reports that Real Madrid are also closely monitoring the situation of Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The England international finds himself in a similar situation to that of Davies, with his contract expiring in 2025 and talks over an extension still not taking place.

As such, Romano states that Real Madrid have been keenly watching the developments around the right-back since March.

The presence of Jude Bellingham could become a crucial factor, with the English pair being very close friends and the midfielder speaking highly of Real Madrid to the Liverpool man.

Real Madrid are thus waiting to see what happens between Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool with the club eventually needing a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal in the near future.

The names of Reece James and Achraf Hakimi have also been discussed as possible options for the future, but Alexander-Arnold’s contract situation would make him a much more appealing target for the reigning European champions.
