The season might be over, but Real Madrid’s Brazilian trio Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Eder Militao have continued to impress on the big stage.

Playing in Brazil’s international friendly against Guinea, all three of them were on target, helping the Selecao secure a 4-1 victory.

Although the scoresheet was opened by Joelinton, it was Rodrygo who doubled Brazil’s lead within the half-hour mark with a sublime strike from an acute angle. It was a delightful goal to watch for the Brazilian fans, even though the team conceded shortly after the second strike.

Brazil continued to create chances and dominate the game in the second half. Their dominance was realised when Eder Militao latched on to an exquisite cross from Lucas Paqueta to head home Brazil’s third of the evening.

The Selecao could have scored a few more goals had it not been for some missed chances. Especially during the final phase of the game, the South American giants spurned at least two good opportunities.

In the end, though, Vinicius Junior was on hand to convert a penalty and make it 4-1 for Brazil. The goal was scored in the 88th minute of the game, helping Brazil add more glitter to the scoreline.

The Real Madrid trio, all scoring on the night, will be happy with this performance as they look to take on Senegal in another international friendly on June 20.

In the meantime, other Real Madrid stars such as Luka Modric, Dani Carvajal and Nacho Fernandez will be involved in action in today’s UEFA Nations League final between Croatia and Spain. Marco Asensio will also be a part of the game, though the Spaniard has decided to leave Real Madrid at the end of the month and is closing in on a move to PSG.

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.

However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.

Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”

“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.

Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.

Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid

Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.

Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.

Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.

The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
