The first half of the season was riddled with complications for Real Madrid as the club had lost many of their key assets to the seemingly endless infliction of injuries.

However, there appears to finally be some light at the end of the tunnel as the Merengues are slowly but surely set to reclaim some of their absentees.

After reports claimed that Arda Guler will participate in the clash against Mallorca, Real Madrid fans have some more good news coming their way.

Vinicius and Camavinga’s return in sight

Indeed, according to Rodra, Vinicius Jr. and Eduardo Camavinga are closing in on their return, as their reintegration into the squad is already being strategized.

The information argues that the plan with Vinicius is to let him play the final few minutes against Mallorca, right after the Christmas break.

The Royal Whites will host 14th-placed Mallorca on the third of January at the Santiago Bernabeu, but will not be taking any risks by immediately placing Vinicius in the starting XI.

Meanwhile, more caution will take place with Camavinga as he will have to wait slightly longer to make his long-awaited return.

Nonetheless, the Madrid faithful can exhale a sigh of ease with the duo’s recovery all complete.

Both Vinicius and Camavinga spent their break continuing their recuperation work at the Los Angeles Galaxy team’s facilities, with the pair training both indoors and outdoors. They lived the process together in Madrid, Dubai, and finally in the US.

Now, with days remaining until their comeback, coach Carlo Ancelotti will be gearing up to compete for titles on all fronts.

Real Madrid will sign off on their successful La Liga campaign today with a fixture against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The game, being seen as a final preparation for the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, sees manager Carlo Ancelotti field his strongest possible lineup.

All eyes will obviously be on the retiring Toni Kroos, who bids goodbye to the Bernabeu in what will be his final home game as a Real Madrid player.

The German international starts in the centre of the park alongside Federico Valverde, while Eduardo Camavinga slots in as the No. 6.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid captain, Nacho Fernandez, also starts in what could be his last game at the Bernabeu as well.

Nacho pairs up with Antonio Rudiger in defence, flanked by the full-back pairing of Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy. Thibaut Courtois starts in goal ahead of Andriy Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Up front, Vinicius Jr. starts in attack, partnering up with Rodrygo Goes. Top scorer Jude Bellingham occupies the attacking midfield role for Real Madrid.
