With that in mind, Real Madrid are expected to begin renewal talks after the Super Cup. Los Blancos are slated to face Atletico Madrid in the said Super Cup, which will be played on January 10.

It is imperative for Ancelotti to seal a victory over the city rivals, especially after being thrashed 3-1 in La Liga earlier in the season.

Ancelotti hasn’t signed anything with Brazil

As Ancelotti looks to begin negotiations over a new deal at Santiago Bernabeu, the Italian mastermind has remained lull on his links to Brazil.

As per AS, Ancelotti has not signed anything with the Brazilian federation just yet, despite the recent leaks.

Ancelotti, in fact, has been quite professional in regard to his relationship with Real Madrid and hasn’t committed to anything until his future at Santiago Bernabeu is resolved.

Nevertheless, the next few months could be crucial for Ancelotti, as he looks to start the year on a good note and further solidify his position as the Real Madrid coach for next season.
