Benjamin Pavard is staring at an uncertain future at Bayern Munich. The Frenchman’s current contract with the club expires next year and talks over an extension have not progressed.

Having taken note of his situation, European giants Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester United have all enquired about Pavard’s availability in the summer, reports Georg Holzner of Kicker.

Apart from those three clubs, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is also on the agendas of La Liga champions Barcelona and UEFA Champions League finalists Inter Milan.

Pavard’s time at the Allianz Arena seemed to be over earlier this season when he had a falling out with former manager Julian Nagelsmann. However, things have improved for the defender under new boss Thomas Tuchel.

And with his contract expiring in the summer, the Bavarian giants are understood to be keen on offering him a renewal. However, nothing is concrete on that front as of yet and Pavard appeared to be bidding a long goodbye to fans after Bayern’s last home game of the season against RB Leipzig.

This has given way to fresh speculations over his future in Germany. Inter Milan and Barcelona are long-term admirers of Pavard and have been linked with a move for the versatile French right-back for a while now.

Now, though, Real Madrid have entered the picture and made an enquiry about his availability in the summer window.

Carlo Ancelotti & co. are on the lookout for reinforcements at right-back owing to Dani Carvajal’s advancing years. Lucas Vazquez has been a decent backup, but is not a natural full-back and it is time for the Merengues to lay down a succession plan in place for Carvajal.

As such, Pavard has emerged as a possible option for Real Madrid. But along with Los Blancos, Manchester United, and Liverpool have also asked about Pavard, possibly as an option for the centre-back role as they have their right-back positions sorted.

Pavard has previously hinted that he would prefer to play as a centre-back moving forward in his career after having been shunted out at right-back for the majority of his stint at Bayern Munich.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid’s enquiry for the Bayern Munich star leads to something substantial in the coming weeks.

The Jude Bellingham saga is finally over as Borussia Dortmund have released an official statement confirming the player’s transfer to Real Madrid this summer. The player had agreed to a move long back, after which the two clubs reached an agreement over the final transfer fee.

The transfer will cost Real Madrid €103 million, plus bonuses. The add-ons can reach up to 30% of the fixed amount – around €30 million, which would take the total transfer fees up to approximately €130 million.

Bellingham has signed a six-year contract with los blancos, until June 2029.

Madrid had an uphill battle to sign Bellingham, with Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool also interested in his signature. The player ruled out the two blue outfits quickly, though, as he wanted to choose a club with history.

Liverpool, meanwhile, lost out to Real Madrid, who are financially in a much stronger position compared to the Premier League giants.

Bellingham is currently nursing a knee injury, but should be fit in time to join Madrid for the later part of their pre-season tour in the United States of America.
