Real Madrid will be offered Serie A striker for €80 million if Mbappe does not join

It is no top secret that Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe share a lot of mutual admiration and that the Merengues have an extensive interest in signing the 24-year-old PSG superstar.
With the player deciding not to renew his contract beyond 2024, he could be sold this summer by Les Parisiens, although the player has thus far insisted that he intends to see out his contract.
Reports earlier today suggested otherwise, claiming that Mbappe would be willing to leave PSG for Real Madrid this summer. But the situation remains very fluid and his arrival this year is far from certain.
And, as such, if Real Madrid do not sign the 2018 FIFA World Cup in the current transfer window, they will be offered an opportunity to sign Dusan Vlahovic by Juventus.
This claim comes from journalist Tomas Gonzalez-Martin, who reports that the Bianconeri would offer the Serbian international’s services to Carlo Ancelotti’s side for a fee of €80 million.
Vlahovic is a player that has been on the radars of Real Madrid. In fact, recent reports suggested a potential loan move for the 23-year-old could be on the cards if Mbappe does not join the club.
But Juventus, given their iffy financial situation, would seemingly prefer an outright sale and would ask for a fee of €80 million from Real Madrid for Vlahovic.
The 23-year-old netted 14 goals from 42 games across all competitions last season – not prolific by any means when one considers the huge shoes left vacant by Karim Benzema that he would be expected to fill at Real Madrid.
And Real Madrid will be wary of splashing such a big sum especially given how things panned out with Luka Jovic in the recent past.
Again, everything will depend on Mbappe and his decision. Should he accept to leave PSG this summer, a move for Vlahovic will not even be considered. But only time will tell what the Frenchman decides and how Real Madrid approach the situation thereafter.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
