Real Madrid are three games into their new season and Marco Asensio has only seen 12 minutes of action. After being completely benched for the first two games, the Spaniard was called on in the dying minutes against Celta Vigo.

His minimal involvement in the team dynamics is said to be owing to his uncertain future. Carlo Ancelotti has opted for even Federico Valverde ahead of the winger, thereby making a statement asking him to decide his future soon.

According to reports from MARCA, there are several teams interested in Asensio’s services. However, the player’s priority has always been to succeed at Real Madrid and it continues to be his sole focus.

When the manager was asked about the forward’s situation earlier this week, he was firm that the cards lay in Asensio’s hands.

“Asensio is a Madrid player and until that changes I will consider him as such and if he deserves to play, he will do so. We have to remember his contribution last year, he scored a lot of goals. We’ll have to wait until the 31st to see what happens and what decision he makes.”

AC Milan were best placed to sign the player earlier this summer, but their interest eventually cooled. At the moment, Manchester United are said to be considering the Spaniard’s signature.

While Real Madrid are open to offering him a new contract, Asensio demands a significant wage raise. Given that the player is not a regular starter, or a , the club are unwilling to make that accommodation.

I think Real Madrid should also try and have some motivation to all players that loose their form whereas is known that they performed some quiet satisfaction spell with the team. There are some players who want their career to end in/with the club but it is only new competition that might be holding them back.we may see example from Ancelotti himself,he moved from the team because his services were nomore of the standard known of him but here he is again in Real Madrid performing wonders.Asensio needs some guidance on practicing valuable skills he posses, like shooting from range,as most of his goals were from a distant shooting. He still has capacity and capability,it is only the flactuation of dexterity values in human nature.

He’s aware that he is not a top class player and will not succeed outside Real Madrid. Besides, clubs out there will not agree to paying him top dollar for his services. That’s why he’s demanding a better contract at Real and staying put.

Asensio is a good player and therefore should be given enough playing time,we know his contribution to the team and I believe if given the time he’ll do well.he is one of the spectacular goal scorers in the team

Real Madrid defender on the radars of Juventus, could leave for €6-8 million

Real Madrid are looking towards a heavy splurge in the coming summer transfer window. After all, they do not even have another option given the sheer number of player departures already finalized.

Los Blancos have lost the services of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Mariano Diaz, and Eden Hazard over the past week. While three of the four players predominantly featured on the bench, their presence in the squad gave Carlo Ancelotti’s side much-needed depth and a cushion of sorts.

The forward unit is, thus, the most prioritized department ahead of the transfer window. However, pieces are beginning to fall apart on other fronts and could potentially put the club in a difficult situation.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are eyeing Lucas Vazquez and hope to sign him in the coming month. Contacts between the two parties have begun and the transfer fee discussed appears to be around the €6 million to €8 million ballpark given that he has just one year left on his contract.

The player, for his part, is willing to sign for the Italian giants given his relative lack of minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu. At 31 years of age, he understandably does not want to play a second-fiddle role.

Vasquez played part in 23 of Real Madrid’s 38 La Liga games last season, starting only on 12 occasions. Even in his few appearances, he averaged a mere 50 minutes per game.

The veteran completed the season with four goals and an assist to his name. Further, he averaged five defensive actions and a key pass in every game and feels hard done by his limited role.

Vazquez’s departure would place the club in a tricky situation as it would leave Real Madrid with only Dani Carvajal as a natural right-back option. Nacho Fernandez could, in theory, serve as the backup but a new signing for the position cannot be ruled out.
