Real Madrid youngster wanted by La Liga rivals in a deal worth €6 million

According to Spanish publication AS (h/t Madrid Xtra), Girona want to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sergio Arribas in an attempt to revamp their squad for the 2023-24 season.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder put on a scintillating display in the season that just ended, scoring 19 goals for the subsidiary team in the Primera Division.
As a result, several top teams are now keeping tabs on his progress and considering the competition at Real Madrid, at least a loan move is highly expected.
Given the names ahead of him in the pecking order, Arribas will have difficulties getting into the first team anytime in the near future. Hence, Real Madrid would be open to a departure.
For that matter, Madrid are once again willing to do business with Girona. It must be remembered that the two teams indulged in negotiation for Miguel Gutierrez in the summer of 2022.
The 21-year-old full-back was sold to Girona for €4 million with Madrid retaining 50% of his rights and the first-refusal option.
The parties involved are looking to strike a similar deal, this time involving Arribas for around €6 million.
Meanwhile, it must be noted that Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also chasing the midfielder.
As reported before, the German team were initially offered the chance to sign the midfielder on a two-year loan stint as part of the Jude Bellingham deal but they did not want any integration in that negotiation.
As of today, it is said that Dortmund are working on a proposal involving a €2 million loan fee, but nothing is concrete. Borussia Dortmund would, of course, be a bigger stage but at Girona, Arribas will get to be an unassailable starter which could be a decisive factor in the deal.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
