Real Madrid youngster wants permanent transfer to AC Milan this summer
According to Sky Sports, AC Milan are set to revamp their squad ahead of the new season. The club have been earning more revenue of late, thanks to their consistent participation in the Champions League. This season, they even went on to reach the semi-final stage.
Using the additional infusion of cash, Milan will look to strengthen the team. For a start, they are expected to hold talks with Real Madrid over a permanent deal for Brahim Diaz.
Sky Sports reports Diaz is keen on a permanent move to San Siro and wants the deal to be completed. The youngster has been at Milan on loan for three years now, during which he has featured in 122 competitive appearances.
Diaz’s contributions in the attacking third have been critical in helping Milan enjoy tremendous success under the leadership of Stefano Pioli. And on the back of this success, he wants to make the relationship a permanent one.
There were talks of Real Madrid potentially including Diaz in the deal to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham. But that is not a possibility anymore.
As per the Sky Sports reports, Real Madrid should not oppose the sale of Diaz to AC Milan. However, they may demand a hefty figure for the former Man City starlet, especially after three years of success.
Brahim Diaz is expected to be in the AC Milan squad for the upcoming game against Juventus. The Rossoneri are hoping that the playmaker can once again showcase his desire to stay at San Siro by scoring and kissing the badge like he did last time.
But that won’t solve Milan’s problems. The Italian club must conjure up enough funds to be able to secure a permanent deal for the Spaniard this summer.
