Real Madrid’s 2024 signing earns praise from Barcelona legend: “They have a star for many years to come”

Just 17 years old, Endrick is already tasting great success in his fledgling football career.

The teenage striker, who Real Madrid signed last December, won his second Brasileiro title with Palmeiras last night, enjoying a successful campaign at the first-team level.

Endrick, on the back of his explosive displays, had been on the transfer wishlist of many clubs last year, including Real Madrid’s arch-rivals FC Barcelona.

The Blaugrana made attempts to convince the teenage centre-forward to join them, but Los Blancos prevailed in the end, agreeing a deal worth €35 million plus €25 million in add-ons and another €12 million in taxes and commission.

Now, one of Barcelona’s former superstars, Luis Suarez, who plies his trade in Brazil with Gremio, has claimed that he would have liked to see Endrick sign for the Catalans instead.

“I would have liked Endrick to have signed for Barça, but he has to decide and enjoy football, and football will enjoy him”, Suarez said, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

Praising the rising star, who will arrive in Madrid next summer once he turns 18, Suarez added: “He is a star, he is still very young, he is taking his first steps. I think what he has achieved this year is incredible. Brazil, Real Madrid, and football have a star for many years to come.”

Such a huge investment in a young talent with no experience in European football raised eyebrows, especially when Endrick was going through a rough patch earlier this year.

But Real Madrid have always retained their faith and confidence in Endrick, with the club very happy with how he is developing.

Recent reports suggest that Los Blancos, in particular, have been left impressed by the teenager’s mentality and see a tinge of Pele in the way he plays.

In my opinion, a very good player, from wherever he comes, is a good additional to Real Madrid always and nothing more. Hala Madrid

According to a recent report from Defensa Central, Manchester United have set their sights on Real Madrid forward Joselu and for that, they are prepared to make a generous offer to lure him, proposing a two-year contract with an impressive salary of €5 million net per year.

Manchester United’s interest in signing Joselu has grown in recent months. His reputation has been on the rise, and United are willing to go all out to secure his signature.

At Real Madrid, the forward’s exceptional performance, particularly his two crucial goals in the European Cup semi-final against Bayern Munich, has made a significant impression.

It is said that this performance highlighted the importance of keeping a strong squad, and Joselu’s contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Real Madrid can sign him

While Joselu is currently committed to Espanyol until June 2024, Real Madrid hold a potential purchase option for him

The cost of this option is relatively low, but it is important to note that Real Madrid’s roster is quite full, with limited space for new players.

Despite this, Joselu’s previous stint in the Premier League has not been forgotten, and Manchester United remains keenly interested in bringing him back to England.

Joselu is an old-school forward who knows what it means to face some of the toughest defences in the world. He understands the challenges and the battles that come with playing at the highest level.

United love Joselu

Even if he is not guaranteed a starting position, his experience and knack for scoring goals make him a valuable addition to any team.

Manchester United see these qualities in Joselu and believes he could be a significant asset to their squad.

In England, there is talk of a lucrative two-year contract on the table for the Galician footballer. This deal would significantly boost Joselu’s salary, offering him €5 million net per year.

This substantial increase in his earnings is a key part of United’s strategy to tempt him away from Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training complex.

Carlo Ancelotti and his staff are very pleased with Joselu’s performance as he has proven to be more than just a team player, but there is a chance that they might still lose him this summer.
