Report: Real Madrid new signing’s attributes that have made him an instant hit

Four games into the new season, there is little doubt as to who Real Madrid’s MVP has been.
The Merengues’ new signing, Jude Bellingham, has had game-defining contributions every time he has stepped onto the field and has arguably been the signing of the summer.
MARCA shower praise on the young midfielder and call his presence on the field to be vital for Real Madrid.
Their praise for the new signing only grows as they state that Bellingham has had a positive impact in Real Madrid through not only his versatility and vision on the field but also his offensive and defensive abilities. His future at the club is bright, they conclude.
A machine on the field
The 20-year-old has been phenomenal in La Liga so far, scoring a stunning five goals in just four appearances. Further, he has provided one assist in the process.
The English international pioneered Los Blancos’ comeback against Almeria from a goal down by netting both the equaliser and the winner on the night.
He then scored a late winner at Municipal de Balaidos to help his team past Celta Vigo before scoring a stoppage-time winner against Getafe at home.
Needless to say, the team’s strong start to the season has largely hinged around Bellingham’s unstoppable form.
Beyond his attacking contributions, Bellingham has also shown game intelligence to construct positive attacking situations and great commitment to his defensive work, be it pressing from the front or sitting back to help the team.
The biggest beneficiary of the formation change

A lot was said about Carlo Ancelotti’s decision to switch to a 4-4-2 diamond formation ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
While it was one of his best options, the system appeared to have several gaping holes, especially on the defensive front.
Adopting the 4-4-2, however, appears to have played into Bellingham’s forte. The youngster has made the attacking midfielder’s role his own and is now the first name on the manager’s roster.
In a little over a month, Bellingham has already enthralled fans with goals, assists, and top-quality defensive work on the field.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
