Valverde, Tchouameni to miss El Clasico as Real Madrid plan strict actions after fight
As already reported, the second episode of tension between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni ended in a fight and with the Uruguayan being taken to hospital.
A highly serious incident that Real Madrid will not ignore. The club has opened an investigation to determine what happened and has also launched disciplinary proceedings against both players.
Midfield duo to miss El Clasico?
It could result in both Valverde and Tchouameni being removed from the squad, reports Jose Felix Diaz of AS, with no scenario is being ruled out at this point.
With the Clasico coming up on Sunday, it appears that neither Valverde nor Tchouameni will be present in the match against Barcelona.
The situation has escalated to a point of almost no return, and the club is considering dealing with the matter in a strict manner.
There is concern within Real Madrid regarding these clashes. The club consider this extremely serious and have made up their mind to take decisive action.
The idea is for both Valverde and Tchouameni to receive the maximum possible punishment, given their repeated offences and the reputational damage they have caused to the club.
According to the club’s Code of Ethics, published on their official website, a case such as that of Valverde and Tchouameni will be addressed through the club’s internal regulations and is grounds for sanction.
“Failure to comply with the Code may result in employment sanctions, without prejudice to any administrative or criminal sanctions that may also arise,” states Article 11.1.
“In the case of the Club’s athletes, the provisions of current labour legislation and the internal regulations agreed with the athletes themselves shall apply,” adds Article 11.2.
After the incident, Real Madrid decided to hold an emergency meeting with all the players in the dressing room at Valdebebas.
A crisis committee led by CEO Jose Angel Sanchez was formed to resolve the tensions and try to end what has been a season to forget in the best possible way.

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. admits finishing problem after another frustrating night vs Elche: ‘Can’t miss that much’
Vinicius Jr.’s difficult start in front of goal continued against Elche, and the Real Madrid forward did not need anyone to tell him he had missed another chance to make the difference.
The Brazilian finished the night without a goal despite having chances to get on the scoresheet, while his teammates could only watch from the bench as opportunities went begging.

His evening ended in the 68th minute, with Mourinho deciding the Brazilian was tired and turning his attention towards Sunday’s Atletico Madrid derby.

The numbers show why Vinicius’ finishing has become a talking point. He managed five shots against Elche, but only one was on target and none found the net.
After seven appearances this season, the Brazilian has scored just once, which is a striking return for a player Real Madrid rely upon to provide a major share of their attacking threat.
Ultimately, though, Real Madrid found another route to victory, with Arda Guler, Kylian Mbappe and Carlos Espi providing the goals in the 3-2 comeback.
