Video: Bellingham helps Vinicius not lose focus arguing with referee during Almeria clash

Jude Bellingham starred in Real Madrid’s latest win. Los Blancos took on Almeria at the Power Horse Stadium and their comeback 3-1 win was only made easy by the new signing’s display.
Bellingham not only scored Los Blancos’ equaliser on the night but even netted their second goal to give his team the lead. A lovely assist to Vinicius’ goal capped off his comprehensive display.
The former Borussia Dortmund star’s influence on the field transcended the mere sporting element. Despite being relatively new in the team, Bellingham is a born leader and showed it against Almeria.
Maturity beyond his years
It was highlighted by a particular incident that took place on the night to at the Power Horse Stadium.
During the game on Saturday, Vini Jr asked the referee to hand a certain Almeria player a yellow card for his challenge. As is well known, the Brazilian does not have a great history in handling referees.
Seeing his teammate appealing for the yellow card, Bellingham intervened and calmed Vini down. He pointed to his head and asked him to focus on the game instead.

In fact, the Brazilian even spoke highly about the midfielder in his post-match interview on the night.
“I hope [our connection] will be like my connection with Karim, which led to loads of goals and assists,” Vinicius said.
A stellar signing
There were some skeptics who had doubts about Bellingham’s ability to perform at Madrid given the large price tag attached to his name. Yet, the player has taken none of it as a burden.
The 20-year-old has three goals and an assist in just two appearances for Real Madrid and has been a force to reckon with in the middle of the park.
Surprisingly, he also acts as the farthest man forward for Ancelotti’s men and has shown great composure in the final third.
And the aforementioned clip goes on to highlight his maturity as well, indicating the kind of impact and influence he has had in a short time in Madrid.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
