In what is becoming a shockingly repetitive behaviour, Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. was once again racially abused by fans of an opponent club, this time Getafe.

The 23-year-old Brazilian superstar has been subjected to vile and racist chants by opposition fans on numerous occasions over the past year.

And it was on display again today as fans of Getafe chanted “Vinicius mon*ey” as Real Madrid’s bus made its way to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

The Brazilian has been vocal about the treatment he has been meted out by racist fans and has time and again implored La Liga to take concrete measures to bring an end to this.

But not much seems to be getting done in the Spanish top flight, with this being the second instance of Vinicius being racially abused by fans in less than a month.

Indeed, the Real Madrid ace was targeted by the same chants as above by Atletico Madrid supporters before the Copa del Rey clash between the two teams at Civitas Metropolitano in January.

Now, it has been repeated by Getafe’s fans outside the Coliseum Alfonso Perez and it remains to be seen what actions La Liga takes to identify and punish those involved.

Real Madrid will sign off on their successful La Liga campaign today with a fixture against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The game, being seen as a final preparation for the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, sees manager Carlo Ancelotti field his strongest possible lineup.

All eyes will obviously be on the retiring Toni Kroos, who bids goodbye to the Bernabeu in what will be his final home game as a Real Madrid player.

The German international starts in the centre of the park alongside Federico Valverde, while Eduardo Camavinga slots in as the No. 6.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid captain, Nacho Fernandez, also starts in what could be his last game at the Bernabeu as well.

Nacho pairs up with Antonio Rudiger in defence, flanked by the full-back pairing of Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy. Thibaut Courtois starts in goal ahead of Andriy Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Up front, Vinicius Jr. starts in attack, partnering up with Rodrygo Goes. Top scorer Jude Bellingham occupies the attacking midfield role for Real Madrid.
