Speaking to Brazilian outlet TNT (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr has sent a message to new signing Endrick, stating that people are waiting for him to arrive at the club next year.

Real Madrid signed Endrick from Palmeiras in December o last year. The club agreed on a deal worth €35 million in fixed fees plus another €25 million in add-ons. The teenage striker is set to arrive at the club in 2024, when he turns 18 years old.

One of the most highly-rated young talents in Brazil, Endrick went through a difficult phase at the start of the new season this year. However, he has slowly recovered his form and scored a goal in the finals of the Paulista Championship recently to help Palmeiras to a victory.

With that, Endrick has now won three major titles with his club despite having played only a handful of first-team matches.

Speaking after the Paulista Championship triumph, Endrick had claimed that Real Madrid will win the UEFA Champions League this season and stated that Vinicius Jr will become the best player in the world.

“I think that we, we, Real Madrid, will be winners of the Champions League and that Vini will be the best in the world,” he had said.

Following Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Chelsea in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals last night, Vinicius was told about Endrick’s prediction and was asked about his thoughts about the 16-year-old prodigy. In response, the superstar forward said:

“Ah, yes. I saw him. I have a very great affection for him. I’m always supporting and cheering him on. I’m very happy for his title and for the goal he scored in the final. People are waiting for him to arrive already.”

Endrick has previously spoken about how he has forged a close friendship with Vinicius. In fact, recent reports in Brazil suggested that the Real Madrid winger helped his future teammate during his recent struggle-filled period.

Fans will have to wait for a little more than a year to see Vinicius and Endrick on the pitch together. But it already seems like the pair have a great understanding.

Brahim, Tchouameni start in a 4-3-1-2: How Real Madrid could lineup against Sevilla

Real Madrid are set to play hosts to Sevilla this evening, in what could prove to be a critical match in the context of the title race.

Although Los Blancos hold a formidable lead at the top of the table, the club are coming on the back of a disappointing result against Rayo Vallecano.

Dropping more points against Sevilla tonight could prove to be costly, especially with Barcelona and Girona breathing down their necks.

Potential Real Madrid lineup vs Sevilla

As Real Madrid approach this crucial game, coach Carlo Ancelotti has to make several arrangements, especially with so many players ruled out either due to injury or suspension.

Starting from the goalkeeper position, Thibaut Courtois remains out, which means Andriy Lunin should continue in between the sticks, ahead of the unhappy Kepa Arrizabalaga.

In the right-back position, Ancelotti is likely to opt for Lucas Vazquez, as Dani Carvajal is suspended after picking up two yellow cards in the last game.

On a bright note, though, Antonio Rudiger is back and should return to central defence. He will be accompanied by Nacho Fernandez at the heart of Real Madrid’s four-man backline.

Elsewhere in defence, Ferland Mendy should continue to start ahead of Fran Garcia in the left-back position.

Moving into midfield, Eduardo Camavinga has been ruled out due to suspension. However, Ancelotti does have a myriad of options in the middle of the park.

Aurelien Tchouameni should continue to operate in the number six position, just behind the two interior midfielders Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde.

Luka Modric is an option on the bench, should Ancelotti require more experience in the middle.

As for the attack, the Real Madrid frontline should be led by Brahim Diaz once again, even though he faces fierce competition from Joselu.

Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, on the other hand, are guaranteed choices in the wide attacking spaces, though Ancelotti does have Arda Guler and Alvaro Rodriguez as potential alternatives.
