Vinicius Jr. is facing growing frustration from the Santiago Bernabeu crowd after another difficult performance in Real Madrid’s 2–1 Champions League victory over Inter Milan.

The Brazilian left the pitch without a goal or assist and was repeatedly booed as supporters became increasingly unhappy with his lack of precision.

Notably, Vinicius has only recently ended one of the summer’s biggest transfer sagas by agreeing a new contract with Real Madrid that runs until 2032 after months of negotiations.

Yet despite securing his long-term future, his relationship with the Bernabeu has suddenly become more complicated.

Bernabeu frustration grows

The criticism intensified as the match against Inter progressed.

Vinicius remained involved defensively and worked hard, but his lack of sharpness in the final third continued to frustrate the home support.

That frustration boiled over late in the match. With Real Madrid leading 2–1 and Inter pushing for an equaliser, another Madrid attack broke down before the stands reacted angrily.

Vinicius was singled out as one of the main targets.

The forward was eventually substituted in the 87th minute, prompting another round of boos from sections of the crowd, although Other supporters responded with applause in an attempt to back him.

Vinicius answered the criticism by applauding towards the stands, while Mourinho approached him as he left the pitch.

The Portuguese manager was quick to defend his player after the final whistle.

Mourinho acknowledged that Vinicius is not currently producing his most effective football but pointed to his effort as a reason for supporters to remain behind him.

“He’s not in form yet. We’re not seeing the Vinicius who excels in one-on-one situations, who finishes off chances, but he’s working very hard,” explained Mourinho.

That defence is important for a player whose confidence and attacking sharpness have become major talking points.

Vinicius’ greatest value has traditionally come from his ability to beat defenders and turn chances into decisive moments, yet those qualities have not consistently appeared so far this season.

Aston Villa, AC Milan to battle it out for Real Madrid forward in January – report

Real Madrid youngster Endrick continues to attract interest from several clubs ahead of another potential loan move in the upcoming January transfer window.

The latest side considering a move for the Brazilian forward is Aston Villa.

Indeed, according to reports relayed by Bernabeu Digital, the Premier League club are interested in signing the Real Madrid striker on loan in January.

No minutes for Endrick

Endrick has had very limited opportunities under Jose Mourinho this season. Across Real Madrid’s nine matches in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, the Brazilian has played just four minutes, coming on in the 86th minute against Elche.

Such limited playing time has left the young forward struggling to gain the minutes and experience needed to develop his talent at Real Madrid.

As such, another loan move, like last January when he left for Olympique Lyon, could offer him a chance to play more regularly and continue his progression.

Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, have now emerged as an interested party to acquire the Brazilian international’s services on loan for the second half of the season.

AC Milan also interested in Endrick

Howver, Aston Villa are not the only club monitoring Endrick’s situation. AC Milan have also renewed their interest in the Brazilian forward.

The Rossoneri already held an interest in the 20-year-old forward during the summer transfer window and are knocking on the doors once again now.

In fact, some reports in Italy even go on to suggest that the youngster is ready to pounce on the opportunity to sign for the Serie A giants.

For now, however, there have been no concrete developments or formal approaches from any interested club.

Real Madrid are understood to be open to allowing Endrick to leave on loan, but they are not considering a permanent sale as they still have a lot of faith in the promising attacker whom they signed from Palmeiras.

With Aston Villa and AC Milan both interested, the coming months could prove important in determining where the young Brazilian will continue his development.
