Ancelotti believes Premier League flop striker is the perfect player for Real Madrid

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has offered an update on Real Madrid’s pursuit of Kai Havertz, suggesting that the club’s desire to sign the Chelsea playmaker is not reliant on the fate of Karim Benzema.
The veteran forward has been reportedly considering a move away from Santiago Bernabeu after receiving a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. Real Madrid, though, have not given up on him just yet and want to keep him at the club at all costs.
At the same time, the Spanish giants are determined to sign Havertz ahead of the new season. The Chelsea star has emerged as the most latest target for the club as they look to reinforce their creative options following the departure of Marco Asensio.
Fabrizio Romano (h/t Madrid Xtra) claims Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti views Havertz as the ideal player for the club, both on and off the pitch.
This comes despite the fact that the German international has been largely branded as a flop in the Premier League. Since joining Chelsea for €80 million in 2020, the youngster has indeed failed to live up to his expectations. He has scored only 32 goals in 139 appearances.
Havertz has faced criticism this season for failing to make use of his chances in front of goal. His faulty performances have directly reflected on Chelsea’s season, as the Blues have finished in mid-table.
But Real Madrid bosses are confident that Havertz has what it takes to become a success in La Liga. It must be noted that Ancelotti had the chance to monitor the German closely during his time in England.
A host of Premier League players have performed well after coming to La Liga, but it has worked the opposite way as well. Whether or not Havertz can establish himself in the former bracket remains to be seen.

French midfielder admits considering PSG move before Real Madrid called him

Aurelien Tchouameni has had an exciting start to his career at Real Madrid. Since joining the club for almost €80 million last summer, the young Frenchman has now become a pivotal figure in Real Madrid’s midfield unit.
However, prior to his move to Santiago Bernabeu, the midfielder was closely linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a recent interview, Tchouameni opened up on his links to PSG but revealed his decision to join Real Madrid.
Aurelien Tchouameni on PSG links
Talking about speculations linking him to PSG, Tchouameni said (h/t Madrid Zone), “PSG? Frankly, I thought about it. It’s a very big European club, we want the French clubs to succeed.”
“But honestly, when Real Madrid calls you, it’s very complicated to say no,” Tchouameni added.

The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG during his time at AS Monaco. Les Parisiens wanted to sign the youngster as part of their plans to reinforce the midfield unit.
Tchouameni, though, ended up opting for a move to Real Madrid, which turned out to be a prudent decision from the midfielder’s end.
Tchouameni’s career at Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni made a total of 50 competitive appearances during his maiden season at Real Madrid.
Although the Frenchman was not entirely a first-team regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup, his stature in the team is expected to grow in the coming years.
Especially as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric move on at the end of the season, there is scope for Tchouameni to become a first-team regular in the Real Madrid midfield in the years to come.
The former AS Monaco starlet has already played a crucial role in the starting eleven so far this season and it is only going to continue as the season progresses.
