Arsenal hold a long-term interest in Real Madrid target, Liverpool, Man City also keen

Gabri Veiga has emerged as one of the rising stars in La Liga this season, establishing himself as a crucial outlet in the Celta Vigo side.
The 20-year-old’s creativity and output in midfield have been making waves in Spanish football. It has not gone unnoticed by top clubs either, with Real Madrid among the clubs reportedly interested in the services of the Spaniard in the coming summer.
However, it appears Real Madrid are set to face stiff competition from Arsenal in the race to sign Veiga.
The Gunners hold a long-term interest in Veiga and have shown the desire to sign the player at the end of the season, as part of Mikel Arteta’s plans to further reinforce his options in the middle of the park.
This has been reported by journalist Ben Jacobs (via Caught Offside), who further suggests that the midfielder is also courted by other Premier League giants such as Liverpool and Manchester City.
However, it is Arsenal who have the longest-standing interest in Veiga. The player has also recently changed his agent, further fueling speculations of a move away from Celta Vigo this coming summer.
That said, the Spanish outfit are not too keen on offloading their star player for cheap. They have referred to the player’s hefty €40 million release clause, which could prove to be an obstacle for Real Madrid, if not Arsenal and others.
In any case, Los Blancos are committed to signing Jude Bellingham in the coming summer. The Englishman has been identified as the top target for the European champions and it would be very surprising to see the club prioritising a move for Veiga.
The player, for his part, looks destined to leave Celta Vigo. But it will be interesting to see what fate holds for the young Spaniard as he looks to take the next big step in his career.

Real Madrid preparing €80 million bid for Premier League superstar

Real Madrid have two of the world’s brightest prospects on their wings. Vinicius Jr has already made his name as one of the generation’s best talents on the left wing while Rodrygo Goes is not far from doing the same on the other flank.
However, the duo no longer have a central striker to complement them for the season to come. With both Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz no longer in the squad, there Merengues have no options left to fill the number nine vacancy.
Harry Kane has quickly emerged as Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti’s favourite option to fill the void. However, reports earlier in the week claimed that Tottenham Hotspurs manager Daniel Levy wished to keep the striker in London and even quoted a €115 million price tag.
According to reports from MARCA, Los Blancos are preparing an opening offer worth €80 million for the English striker. Needless to say, the bid is not too far off from the Premier League side’s asking price.
Negotiations are expected to progress swiftly in the coming week. Given that not too much separates the two parties, one can expect Florentino Perez to come up with creative ways to bridge the gap.
Despite the relatively steep price tag, Real Madrid are in an advantageous position for two reasons.
For starters, Kane wishes to represent the club’s crest and reports even claim it is the only team for which he would leave the Premier League. Secondly, Daniel Levy does not wish to sell the player to direct competition in the Premier League, indirectly favouring the Merengues.
The 29-year-old has been Tottenham’s centre-piece since 2013 and has racked up goals for fun year after year. In the recently concluded season of the Premier League, he scored 30 goals and provided three assists in 38 appearances in addition to creating 14 big chances.
