Contrary reports around superstar’s future: Real Madrid calm, Mbappe has 3 demands from PSG

Kylian Mbappe’s future is a topic of not just sporting but national importance for France now. Losing the youngster would drastically reduce the popularity of Ligue 1 and cause a significant drop in viewership and revenue.
Needless to say, Paris-Saint Germain stands heavily to lose if Mbappe departs and are hence leaving no stone unturned to secure his renewal.
According to reports from Le Parisien (h/t Fichajes), the youngster’s agents are now in Doha to negotiate a possible renewal with the club. However, Mbappe is said to have put three conditions for that to happen.
First, the French international wants a UEFA Champions League winning project. This would be possible by signing strong reinforcements, especially in the middle of the park.
Second, the World Cup winner demands a change of manager. Despite having a star-studded squad, Mauricio Pochettino has struggled to bring the best out of the French side. In his place, Zinedine Zidane is seen as a realistic option.
Finally, the winger asks for a change in the sports director position. He does not share a good relationship with Leonardo and wants a new face to occupy the office.
Needless to say, Mbappe’s demands do not seem to be an astronomical task. One would expect the Ligue 1 champions to agree to the conditions, for his continuity at the club is far more vital.
PSG hopes to renew the player for another 2 to 3 years, reports The Athletic (h/t Madrid Xtra).
It remains to be seen how Real Madrid react to the new movements in the winger’s camp. Nevertheless, one could expect Florentino Perez to come out with an aggressive counteroffer to tempt the player.
According to MARCA, the World Cup winner will not communicate his final decision before the season ends (21 May), as the player wants to respect PSG.
However, Real Madrid remains calm, as according to the same report from the Spanish outlet, Mbappe already has a pact and an agreement with Los Blancos.

Real Madrid offered the chance to sign Brazilian striker, one of 4-5 names on radar

There is no secret that Real Madrid might consider a move for a new striker in the coming summer. With Karim Benzema slowly nearing the end of his career, the club are looking for a viable alternative ahead of the new season.
Carlo Ancelotti has been left impressed by the performances of Rodrygo in the centre forward position. But the club could still use the services of a more recognised option in the number nine position.
The Spanish giants are reportedly assessing La Liga for a potential low-cost option. But they are also open to looking through in other leagues, in their bid to add more depth in the attacking department.
To that end, Fabrizio Romano claims Real Madrid are eyeing a swoop for Roberto Firmino. The Liverpool star has become the latest player to be shortlisted by Los Blancos, with his current contract at Liverpool expiring at the end of the season.
Formerly of TSG Hoffenheim, Firmino has a stellar track record of performing in Europe. He has scored 110 goals in 361 competitive matches during his time at Liverpool, winning the Premier League and the Champions League title.
A centre forward by trade, Roberto is known for his tactical flexibility and the ability to shift into wider areas to build up the player.
It makes him an appealing target for Real Madrid, who would prefer a versatile striker in their ranks that can not only provide cover for Benzema but also the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
Real Madrid, though, are yet to hold any discussions with Roberto Firmino just yet. He has just been added to the list of targets and one would expect the Spanish giants to make a move once the season is over and the player becomes a free agent.
