Injury update: Toni Kroos could return from injury in time for PSG clash
Real Madrid completed a 4-1 drubbing of Real Sociedad at the weekend ahead of the critical encounter against Paris-Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League. However, all is not well ahead of the Round of 16 clash.
Los Blancos head into the game at Bernabeu with some significant handicaps. Casemiro and Ferland Mendy are suspended on the night owing to an accumulation of yellow cards. Moreover, injuries to Marcelo and Toni Kroos have put both players in doubt for these upcoming games.
Carlo Ancelotti’s plans suffer a big blow with these updates, especially at left-back and in midfield. Yet, there is a silver lining to the situation.
According to reports from Miguel Angel Diaz, Kroos is not yet ruled out for the game against PSG. On Tuesday, the German will try to train with the group. The final decision regarding his participation will be based on his feelings in the session.
