Mourinho tells Real Madrid defender to find new club as super agent steps in
Raul Asencio’s future at Real Madrid remains unresolved, with Jorge Mendes still searching for a club willing to take the defender before the transfer window closes.

However, despite the club being open to his departure and Jose Mourinho telling the player to find a new team, there has been no concrete offer on the table so far.
The situation has become even more complicated because of Asencio’s current thigh injury.
His fitness issue has effectively slowed down any immediate transfer movement, leaving both Real Madrid and the player’s representatives waiting for the right opportunity to emerge.
Mourinho’s message puts Asencio’s future in doubt
Asencio’s future has been one of the more uncertain stories surrounding Real Madrid this summer.
The academy graduate has been made aware that his situation could change, with Mourinho speaking directly to the defender and telling him to look for a new club.
Real Madrid are open to selling Asencio, but a departure requires an interested club to make a concrete approach, but so far, that has not happened.

As mentioned already, Real Madrid have closely followed Wharton’s situation throughout the summer, although the club ultimately decided against making any further additions to their midfield.
Manchester City and Chelsea also showed serious interest in signing the England international during the summer. However, Crystal Palace were unwilling to sell, effectively ruling out a move for the midfielder.
But it appears that they could open the doors for Wharton to leave in the summer of 2027, potentially paving the way for Real Madrid to make a move.
Real Madrid continue to monitor Wharton
Real Madrid are expected to keep a close eye on Wharton’s progress ahead of the 2027 market. Should they decide they need another high-quality midfielder, the 22-year-old could once again emerge as a candidate.
Manchester City may be less likely to return for Wharton after strengthening their midfield significantly this summer.
