Real Madrid have been eyeing some big summer moves following the 23-24 season, as their objective to assemble a dynamite squad of football’s most explosive young talents remains firmly in sight.

After signing one huge young star from Germany in Jude Bellingham – especially seeing the way he is performing – Los Blancos have also cast their eye on another Bundesliga gem in recent weeks.

Buzz about the signing of Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich has been hotting up, and according to reports from Sky Sports Germany that highlight the Bavarians’ interest in Florian Wirtz, there could be some movement not too far down the line.

Musiala’s Madrid move could become easier

The reports from the German outlet state that Bayer Leverkusen have set an asking price of 120 million euros or upwards for Wirtz, which could mean Bayern have to do some major reshuffling if they are super keen on signing him.

Given the astronomical valuation, the Bavarians may have to raise some money by making bis sales and also free up some space on their wage bill, and while they would prefer to keep Musiala, it seems as though they are not certain on his future.

With Real Madrid’s interest growing, if he were to leave next year or in 2025, Bayern would have to make sure they generate funds from the sale to seamlessly bring in Wirtz to replace him.

But in such a scenario, Real Madrid have a strong hand in negotiations and their chances of landing Musiala are massively heightened.

Musiala is not the only Bayern player Madrid are looking at either, as their pursuit for a left-back has led them to Alphonso Davies, with whom the Galacticos are inching closer to formulating a deal.

As Real Madrid get closer and closer to their final game of the season against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League, they are now sweating over the availability of one of their players.

It has already been confirmed that both David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni will miss the finals in London due to injuries.

Other than that, Carlo Ancelotti is likely to have the entirety of his squad available at his disposal, although there could be some concerns surrounding Andriy Lunin.

Lunin not in training for the third day in running

Indeed, Andriy Lunin has not participated in team training today, making it three days in a row heading into the Champions League final, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The Real Madrid goalkeeper is down with a fever that has kept him out of training for three days in a row now.

However, the report does add that despite not being in training for three days now, the Ukrainian international will fly to London and be on the squad list for the finals.

But with reports already suggesting that Thibaut Courtois will be starting in goal against Dortmund, Lunin’s continued absence from training only further strengthens the Belgian’s chances.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was absent from training on Tuesday due to personal reasons, is back working with the rest of the squad today. The Spaniard will have no involvement in Saturday’s final though.

Carlo Ancelotti is likely to go with the exact same starting lineup that he named for the Merengues’ final La Liga match against Real Betis.
